There’s a trendy new sweet treat in town that is fruity, fluffy, and crazily delish. And it’s from none other than Disney, who is constantly proving that the sky is the limit when it comes to feeding its crowds with the cutest and best of theme park desserts.

From Toy Story Alien and Buttercup Caramel Apples, Pineapple Marshmallow Churros, or Up-themed Pastries to Dole Whip Donuts, Disney has a ton of fun and splendidly-sweet options to satisfy all those dreadful but unavoidable late-day sugar cravings. They have always been masters at knowing exactly how to keep foodies of all sorts wanting more and more (and more) no matter what age they happen to be.

This time around, summertime’s latest and totally Instagram-able tropical treat is Pineapple Cotton Candy – a totally reinvented (not to mention expertly upgraded) version of an older form of the fluffy treat that will probably fulfill everyone’s childhood carnival fantasies. It’s also likely to be the most humungous and delicious mass of cotton candy ever to be seen and tasted.

Pineapple Cotton Candy 2.0, which started appearing on social media in early June, is definitely not anyone’s average candy floss treat.

As the Disney Food Blog reports, it is “handmade to order with a pineapple-y cross-hatch pattern designed to mimic the exterior of a real pineapple,” and unsurprisingly, these gigantic fluffy snacks have already caught the attention of Mickey Mouse fans and social media influencers all across the globe.

Also included when this dessert is served is a teeny-weeny tropical cocktail umbrella, a green faux-plant topper, and some sparkly gold glitter. Basically, you’ll be grabbing hold of a radical real-life poufy pineapple topped with festive little umbrellas, pineapple leaves, and tons of edible golden “Pixie” dust sprinkled all over. Did Tinkerbell have a hand in creating this new treat? We sure hope so.

What’s even more exciting is that these new and improved light-as-air sugary concoctions cost merely eight bucks and can be found at Downtown Disney's Cotton Candy Creations just after 4:00 PM on weekdays and after 2:0o PM on weekends. Clearly, this is not intended to be a breakfast snack.

"The Happiest Place on Earth" has once again made summer just a tad bit sweeter. Tropical bliss never looked or tasted this good!
