10 Happee Birthdae Harry

We all remember when Harry found out that he was a wizard. You can probably still hear Hagrid’s gruff voice saying, “Yer a wizard Harry.”If you can recall that, we're sure you can remember the grounds keeper’s first gift to the young wizard. On Harry’s 11th birthday, he was greeted with a giant chocolate cake with green letters on it that spelled out, “Happee Birthdae Harry.”

If you’ve ever wondered how you could make your very own version of the cake to celebrate the chosen one’s birthday then check out this recipe!

8 Mrs. Weasley’s English Toffee

Mrs. Weasley was a traditional housewife, who found joy in tending to the house and making sure that her family was satisfied and well-fed. The best part about her treats was the fact that they were usually normal goodies that muggles, like us, could eat. We may not be a part of Mrs. Weasley’s family, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t eat like them. Maybe you can even channel your inner Molly Weasely and try and make some toffee as large as a dragon egg!

7 Mrs. Weasley’s Rock Cakes

Mrs. Weasley is at it again! When we first read about Mrs. Weasley’s rock cakes, we were sure that they were a made up item. It wasn’t a magical treat, but it must’ve been something that J.K. Rowling came up with and decided to put in this series. Apparently, we were very wrong. Rock cakes are essentially a tiny fruitcake, but the surface just so happens to be rough like a rock. They also happen to be really tasty! If you fancy having some of this traditional tea time treat,  check out this recipe!

6  Butterbeer

So butterbeer may not technically be a type of food, but it does seem to be a staple in the world of Harry Potter, which is why it's included on this list. Plus, after eating all of the delicious treats that we have here, you’re going to need something to wash them down with. Butterbeer is truly a gift to mankind and so is this recipe!

5 Cauldron Cakes

Cauldron cakes made their first appearance in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. They’re one of the treats that just so happens to be sold in the sweet’s trolley on the Hogwarts Express and at Honeyducks Sweetshop in Hogsmeade. We never get much of a description of these delicious treats. With this recipe, they’ll turn out super chocolatey. Our mouth is watering just from looking at this picture!

4 Exploding Bonbons

In the Harry Potter universe, this happens to be a treat that looks harmless from the outside but packs a major punch. Just as the name suggests, it explodes once it’s in your stomach. The explosion isn’t enough to harm anyone, but I’m sure it probably feels pretty uncomfortable to eat. Like most of the treats in this franchise, they can be purchased from Honeydukes Sweetshop in Hogsmeade. But since we’re non-magical folk, I guess we’ll just have to settle for these homemade non-explosive versions of the famous sweets.

3 Peppermint Toads

If you're a fan of peppermint, then you might want to try making these peppermint toads. The magical versions of this treat will hop around in your stomach after you’ve consumed it. You won’t have to worry about having that happen when you munch on these ones though. However, you’ll still be able to taste the same peppermint flavors that your favorite characters did when they ate their reptilian candy from Honeydukes.

2 Canary Creams

Sometimes holding an object was all you had to do in order to play your prank, but other times you had to make sure that your target actually consumed something. Canary creams happen to be one of those pranky-products that needs to be eaten. From the outside, it’ looks just like a normal tasty treat, but when somebody eats one they instantly turn into a large canary. This version may not turn your intended target into a bird, but it’s still pretty tasty.

1 Cheese And Pretzel Broomsticks

This treat doesn’t have the same flair as some of the others on this list, but we thought that we’d include something for those of you out there who aren’t into sweet stuff. Plus, this recipe is definitely really easy to follow.  So if you’re like us and are not a cook, or if you’re craving something simple and a little bit savory, then check out this recipe for cheese and pretzel broomsticks! Yum!
