If you look at some families in Hollywood, you'll find that they are blended in some capacity more often than not.

It's like a trend in show biz to get married in your early career, make a couple of babies, get divorced not long after, and then get married again to a woman half your age and start a whole new family. Of course, every celebrity's situation is different, but the outcomes are the same. They all have blended families. They have one family comprised of their older children and one family with their younger children. Somehow they all come together in the middle.

Everyone from Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger to Kevin Costner and Mel Gibson. They all had baby mamas around the time their older children had kids themselves.

But we never thought Bruce Willis would have a blended family. Then again, we never thought he'd have a music career either. Willis was married to Demi Moore from 1987 to 2000. They had three daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. In 2009, he married again, this time to Emma Heming, a woman half his age. They had their daughter Mabel in 2012 and then their second, Evelyn, in 2014.

Here's how they all come together as one big blended family.

There's Respect Between Willis, Moore, And Heming

In 2017, Willis told Closer Weekly that he doesn't "want to be away from Emma at all. It’s the most singular relationship I’ve ever had in my life." Heming thinks they "have a great foundation" and that laughter plays a big part in their relationship. "You’ve got to keep laughing because if you stop, you’re going to have some issues," she said. Willis uses humor a lot to parent their girls too.

They certainly have a small army of family members that can help them take care of their two young girls, including Willis's three older daughters. Although it might sometimes seem like Willis has a family apart from his older children, that's not the case. They're really one big happy family.

The family wouldn't be anything if not for Willis and Moore's amicable relationship post-marriage. They have always stayed close. They co-parented their daughters excellently and even attending each other's weddings. Heming and Moore's relationship is on par too. Willis's young wife said she has "so much respect" for Moore.

"She welcomed me into her family like I welcomed her into ours," Heming told Closer Weekly in 2019. "I have so much respect for how Bruce and Demi worked through their divorce to be able to put their children first. I learned so much from that and grew so much from watching that."

It's great to hear of an ex-couple getting along and putting parenting first. But this is Willis we're talking about; he can handle anything. You can always catch some sweet throwbacks of Moore and Willis on Moore's social media. She shows her love and respect for her ex-husband-turned-friend in father's day and birthday posts.

They Were All Supposed To Quarantine Together

When quarantine first started, Heming and the girls were supposed to meet Willis at Moore's house, where they were all going to form a quarantine bubble, but it didn't quite work out the way it was planned because of an emergency.

One of his younger daughters found a needle at the park and decided to poke her show with it. She pricked her toe, and it set everyone in a panic. So Heming had to take her to the doctor, but travel shut down in the process, prohibiting the younger Willis family from traveling to Idaho to meet everyone else. Everything turned out okay though.

It's heartwarming that Moore invited everyone to crash at her place during quarantine. Still, it's sad that Willis had to be separated from part of his family, especially when he doesn't like being away from them. But it seemed like he was okay through it all. Willis, Moore, and their girls got matching PJs at one point and had a lot of fun together.

One thing is for sure, Willis's youngest girls have a solid family unit that will always be there for them, and Willis will never play favorites with any of his daughters. All five of them are equal in his eyes and they keep him busy. It's sweet seeing John McClane raise an army of powerful girls.
