After Abby and Brittany Hensel grew up in front of the world, many viewers came to care about the sisters and want the best for them. For many of those fans, it has been disappointing to see that the Hensel twins have opted to lead their lives without cameras following around for years now.

Even though the Hensel sisters have adopted an anonymous life, it still is possible for fans to learn some general facts about what they are up to now. Most notably, it is known that Abby and Brittany have accomplished their shared goal of becoming teachers.

After landing their first teaching job in 2013, Anny and Brittany continue to work in that profession to this day. Currently employed by Sunnyside Elementary in New Brighton, Minnesota the Hensel sisters teach 5th grade as of this writing according to the school's website.

In the past, the Hensel sisters have spoken about what it is like for them to teach together. According to Abby and Brittany, having two pairs of eyes helps them to keep track of their students better.

On top of that, Abby and Brittany have revealed that they let their students ask them any questions they want on the first day of school.

Unfortunately for the Hensel sisters, even though both of them are qualified teachers, they only get paid a single salary between them. While speaking to the BBC about that, the sisters expressed that they understand why that is the case, but they hope that changes someday.

Do Conjoined Twins Abby And Brittany Hensel Date?

From the time Abby and Brittany Hensel were young until when they were preparing to launch their careers, the sisters have routinely talked about their lives on camera. For that reason, anyone who watched the specials about the Hensel Twins or their short-lived show learned a lot about them.

Even though the Hensel twins have been willing to talk about their friends, their frustrations, and most aspects of their lives, there is one topic they avoid talking about, their dating lives. When Abby and Brittany spoke to The Daily Mail in 2012, they were adamant that they weren't willing to speak about dating anyone.

First off, Brittany explained why she and her sister want privacy in that area of their lives.

“The whole world doesn’t need to know who we are seeing, what we are doing, and when we are going to do it. But believe me, we are totally different people.”

Even though Abby also wasn't willing to talk about dating anyone, she went on to explain what the sisters wanted in the future.

“Yeah, we are going to be mums one day, but we don’t want to talk about how it’s going to work yet.”

Despite Abby and Brittany making it very clear they want to keep their love lives out of the spotlight, that hasn't always been respected. Instead, in 2012 there was a rumor that Brittany had gotten engaged.

After that rumor picked up steam, Abby and Brittany denied the gossip and there is absolutely no evidence that either of the Hensel twins is married today.

Given the fact that Abby and Brittany weren't willing to talk about romance when they were TV stars, it seems unlikely that will change now that the twins lead private lives. However, you never know, the world may learn about the Hensel sisters' love life someday.
