Still, some people weren't pleased with the examples and calculated how much Kim Kardashian's $1 million donation means for an average person, resulting in only $70 going to those in need.
Do The Kardashian-Jenners Donate To Charity?
Even if fans aren't sure whether the sisters and their "momager" donate enough of their wealth, the Kardashian-Jenner family is known for their philanthropic work over the years. Each member has focused on the causes they care about the most, from potable water to creating the necessary infrastructure for communities in need. There are reportedly more than twenty times they have used their wealth for charity.
After the unfortunate 72-day marriage with Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian donated double the value of her wedding gifts, namely $200k to The Dream Foundation. She reportedly also donated $1 million to support Armenian communities in need.
Kourtney Kardashian also made her part in giving back by taking her kids, Mason and Penelope, to a donation center where they gave away some of their expensive toys.
While Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner also helped different causes financially, they got their hands dirty for charity, cleaning up the trash on a beach. Kylie Jenner was also a part of raising $600k to help children with cleft lips through her billion-worth business, Kylie Cosmetics.
As one of the most interested in giving back out of the Kardashian-Jenners, Kylie Jenner donated half a million to Teen Cancer America, and $200k to someone who couldn't go to college.
The Kardashians Have Their Own Family Foundation For Charitable Giving
When the Kardashian-Jenner family doesn't donate individually, they do it together. Despite their immense wealth, they haven't lost touch with the importance of giving back.
They reportedly founded the Kardashian Jenner Family Foundation which has the purpose of raising awareness and funds for various causes, including the welfare of children in need, and cancer research. Even though not much is known about it, the Kardashian Jenner Family Foundation is under Kris Jenner's name.
It seems that the "momager" was once again behind organizing what her family gives back from their wealth. Considering all this evidence, it's certain that the Kardashian-Jenner family is interested in charity as each member is focused on various causes related to research, or supporting different communities.
Still, fans don't think the family gives back enough since their combined net worth is billions, and they donate only a few million of their wealth to charity per year.
