In the space of a few years, Billie Eilish has become one of the biggest teen popstars on the planet. Her rise to fame began with her hit song Ocean Eyes, which was streamed over 200 million times.

She originally released the song on SoundCloud in 2015, however, it would later be re-released commercially in 2016 after she signed with Darkroom and Interscope Records. Since its release, Billie quickly rose to fame, and soon became one of the most talked about singers within the music industry.

However, rising to at such the young age of fifteen also has its consequences. While the star undoubtedly earns big bucks from both her career and social media presence, she has also unveiled that she has gone through past struggles.

Besides being scrutinized for her body image or comments she may have made that some found offensive, Billie has also had to deal with the challenge of dealing with very public romantic relationships, and while the Ocean Eyes singer is seemingly single for now, many fans want to know how Billie really feels about having kids.

Does Billie Eilish Have A Big Family?

It is no secret for many avid fans that Billie is extremely close with her brother Finneas O'Connell, with the pair having written many songs together such as when the party's over, everything i wanted, ocean eyes, bury a friend, idontwannabeyouanymore and Happier Than Ever.

As of writing, they have made a total of 114 songs together — and counting. However, it's not just her brother that she is close with. The singer also enjoys spending time with many of her other family members.

Billie is also close with her mother, Maggie, who is a teacher and actress, while her father is an actor. They often accompany her on her tours and have seemingly been very supportive of their daughter's career.

In fact, they are such a close-knit family that Billie even supports them financially, paying them to work with her.

While she is very supportive of her parents, she has also expressed from time to time how close she is to them.

In a previous interview, the star opened up in regard to her relationship with her father, telling NME: "Me and my dad are very, very similar. One of my best friends, Zoe, who I grew up with since we were three, told me that she did not understand my dad for years and years... Then, one day, she was, 'Oh, he's you!'"

Altogether, they are a total of four when it comes to immediate family, and it looks as though their bond will continue to grow as they carry on working together.

While Billie Eilish has a blossoming relationship with her family, how does she really feel about having kids of her own? Although she is still young at just 20 years old, it seems that the Bad Guy singer has already had a few fleeting thoughts surrounding the topic.

On several occasions, the singer has mentioned her feelings regarding children. In 2021, she told Vanity Fair that she 'wants kids' and 'wants those kids to have kids'. She Still Dreads Certain Aspects Of Parenthood

While Billie seems completely enthralled with the idea of starting a family, she also has her doubts. In the same interview, she revealed that there are certain aspects of motherhood that she 'dreads', such as clashing with her kids and them not listening to her.

"The older I get, the more I experience things, I just think … what am I going to do when my kid thinks that this is the right thing to do and I’m, like, no, it’s not! And they won’t listen to me.”

In addition, Billie also opened up regarding her fears of gun violence in America, labeling it as 'scary' and that it's 'not ok' for kids to be scared to go to school. She continued by saying “You go to school and be prepared for a life-changing traumatic experience or dying. What? Who? Where is the logic there?”.
