The Cosmo party was on October 12th so it sounds like the three sisters were able to have a long visit with each other.

The Divorce
According to Country Rebel, the family went through a terrible time as the parents got divorced. When Derek was 12 and Julianne was only nine years old, they actually had to live in separate houses. Derek moved into a house with their dad and Julianne stayed with their mom. The siblings created a super powerful and emotional dance to show how tough this time in their lives was. Julianne said of the dance, "Many of you might be able to relate to our dance which represented some of the tougher times my family went through when I was growing up….I mean this from my heart — whatever you are going through is going to work out in time and it will be for the best."
According to The Daily Mail, the family was Mormon and they were always tight with one another. Good Housekeeping says that while the three other siblings kept living in Utah, Derek and Julianne went to London. This is where their passion for dance and performance was really cultivated, and it was a tough time for them as Julianne has spoken out about "abuse" that she suffered. She stays upbeat, though, and said, "People tend to only remember negatives because that’s what drives them. But at the end of the day you have to see the joy, too."
