Dog Or Bear? Bertram The Pomeranian Posts Photo In Uncanny Paddington Bear Cosplay

Bertram the Pomeranian is giving Paddington Bear a run for his money. The adorable pooch bears a striking resemblance to the iconic character created by Michael Bond and illustrated by Peggy Fortnum.

The Pomeranian, who has his own Instagram account, has an undeniable sense of style, appearing in a variety of colorful outfits. Yet it’s his Paddington Bear costume that has fans doing a double take.

His fans can’t get enough of his getups, commenting, “how cute is he! His names Bertie too 😍🙊🙊.”

The chocolate Pom also has an enviable collection of preppy polo shirts that would fit right in at Eton or Oxford. Just check out his bold green and white striped polo shirt below.

This chic canine also seems to enjoy the pampered life, getting a range of spa treatments, including a variety of baths, as well as, dare we say, a mud treatment. As lalabogner said on Instagram, “dirty is the new clean 😘”

According to his bio, Bertram, who was born in May 2013, was adopted off Petfinder.com from a shelter in Oklahoma and now lives in New York City, where he works at an art gallery — @theholenyc. He currently has 182,000 followers on Instagram.

Bertram, who also rocks a flower crown, gives some serious Beyoncé vibes. This cuddly pup was allegedly was abandoned at five months because his breeders thought he was “too big to sell.” Luckily, New York artist Kathy Grayson found Bertram and immediately adopted him. He may have been too big for Oklahoma, but he's just the right size to take Manhattan.
