Doja Cat just released her third studio album Planet Her, and she's already thinking of her next career move. We're still getting introduced to sexy bops like "Woman" on the tracklist, now we have to excitedly wait for ANOTHER project?

It's not set in stone, but the rapper recently told MTV who she hopes to collaborate with very soon. We have to admit, the combination of the two would result in one of the most outrageous music videos of all time.

Call Him By His Name

Doja Cat played an emoji song game with MTV and likened the fire emoji to Lil Nas X's catchy and controversial single "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)." She went on to compliment Lil Nas for both his work ethic and personality.

"Can't wait to work with him," she shared while dressed up in an intergalactic blue ensemble, "He is the sweetest person."

She continued, "I support him fully. He is very funny and actually one of the very few celebrities that knows how to use TikTok correctly." Yes, we're looking at you, KJ Apa. And everyone else who uses TikTok for five paid promotions per day.

Doja Cat softened while talking about Lil Nas X, and took a break from playful jokes to genuinely give him the credit he deserves. If Planet Her takes off as well as it has on release day, we hope to get that duo in the studio ASAP.

She even dedicated the next emoji in the short game, a cowboy emoji, to his song "Old Town Road." He knows how to make a song trend and remain his authentic self despite cruel backlash from closed-minded people.

Fans Need A Collab

After Doja Cat revealed that she hopes to collab with her favorite pole-dancing cowboy, fans went wild. The two would conquer the world of camp, inventive lyrics, and a chorus that will ingrain itself into our minds.

We can for now only imagine the eccentric twists they would come up with, considering how both their sounds stray away from other artists who fall into the temptation to carbon copy the rest of the music industry.

However, it also begs the question as to why she didn't include Lil Nas X on her current album if she wanted to work with him. The album was released today, June 25th, and while songs take a long time to produce, this has obviously been in the works for a while.

Is this a newfound appreciation for Lil Nas X, or perhaps their schedules didn't align?
