"Man I Thought he’d use a new hairstyle for this one. Or a new look… Or a new facial expression…" wrote a fourth.

Dwayne Johnson had been training hard to prepare for his role in the superhero flick, in which he stars alongside Noah Centineo's Atom Smasher, Pierce Brosnan's Doctor Fate and Aldis Hodge's Hawkman among other actors.

Although a plot for the film hasn't been confirmed, it is known referred to as the big-screen adaptation of the Justice Society of America. Johnson's character has been a fan-favorite anti-hero and powerful villain in the comic-books, and is arguably more powerful than Superman himself.

He can fly, possesses super strength and durability, and has the power of speed. He can also cast magical lightning strikes and has a vast amount of knowledge, among other powers.

In the character's introduction story, Black Adam is an Egyptian adult known as Teth-Adam, who is chosen as a champion by an ancient wizard by the name of Shazam. By shouting the wizard's name, Teth-Adam discovers he is able to draw power from a collection of deities and eventually becomes a superhuman warrior.

The film is set to release in 2022.
