As we all by now, Dwayne Johnson is very serious about his training and would only trust a select few to guide him in the 'Iron Paradise', turns out, his ex-wife's current husband Dave is on that short-list.
Dave does not take the job lightly by any means, ensuring that Dwayne is keeping lean year-round, "It’s extremely important. We hold his conditioning in a very tight window to allow him to be ‘scene ready’ at any moment. Keeping him at striking distance ensures that we never need to take drastic measures to obtain a certain look or over-stress his body. The bottom line is that he always needs to be able to perform at his best on-screen. It just goes to show the trust factor between the two, as Dwayne doesn't go into business with just anyone, especially given that he has multiple offers on the daily to endorse brands.
