However, Dwayne Johnson admitted with CNBC that when it comes to the liquor business, he’s still learning on the go. The ultimate goal for DJ is to make ‘Teremana’ a stand-alone without his backing, ultimately becoming a legacy brand, “this is a legacy play,” he said. “Ideally, I’d like to get it to the point where the brand can live on its own without me. I always say, I come in and give something the jet fuel then I can hopefully eventually back off,” Johnson said.
Early on, the brand is off to a fantastic start, not only is the quality of the product highly praised buy given DJ’s recent comments on IG, the sales are setting some serious records early on, “THANK YOU for making Teremana the most exciting and record-setting tequila in the world. Great to see the product thriving, especially given that the idea was ten years in the making – it was something that was thought of overnight. According to CNBC, the company is expecting to ship out 400,000 in March of 2021. We can expect some serious sales.
