The Sprouse twins are high-profile celebrities, so of course, they're followed by paparazzi just as much as any other celebrity.

The Sprouse twins are one of the most famous twins in Hollywood, so they're kind of used to all the media coverage about their lives.

Now that they've both returned to acting after embarking on a six-year hiatus following their roles as Zack and Cody in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody spin-off The Suite Life on Deck in 2011, they're getting a whole lot more media attention.

In 2017, Cole jumped back into television, starring in Riverdale, and Dylan has starred in a couple of films here and there and is set to appear in a new HBO Max show called The Sex Lives Of College Girls, ten years after leaving Disney.

But before Dylan made his big return to Hollywood in 2017, he got up to a lot. He took time out of acting to go to college and earned a degree in video game design from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study. He also opened his own meadery called All-Wise Meadery, became a Heathen, and had a relationship with Dayna Frazer, whom he split from when he returned to acting.

When Sprouse, who's worth $8 million, came back onto the scene, he started dating Hungarian model Barbara Palvin in 2018, but she had some concerns with dating a celebrity at first. In fact, she had some major issues with the idea of being his girlfriend.

Here's why Palvin was scared to date Sprouse in the early stages of their romance.

They Are One Of The Best Couples Right Now

Sprouse and the Victoria's Secret Angel have been dating since the summer of 2018. They met at a party where Palvin told People she knew she wanted to become exclusive with him from the first moment she saw him.

Palvin followed him on social media, and they immediately started DMing each other. They clicked because they have a lot in common. Sprouse was little when he started acting, as was Palvin when she got into modeling.

Suddenly, she was visiting him in China, where he was shooting a film at the time. By the end of the summer, fans and the media were catching on that they were a thing because Sprouse posted a now-deleted photo of them at the World Cup in Russia. Then Palvin seemingly made them official by posting a selfie of the two of them for his birthday.

"Even though it's your birthday I feel I just got the biggest present of all. Happy birthday, Boss Baby," she wrote in the caption.

Then they were spotted traveling to Palvin's home country, Hungary. Sprouse told W magazine that he was using the trip to pick up some Hungarian to communicate with Palvin's parents. If that's not love, we don't know what is.

"I wasn't nervous to meet her parents, but the truth is that there is a language barrier, obviously," Sprouse told the magazine. "Her mother speaks a very tiny bit [of English], and I am not proficient in Hungarian. I'm trying, but learning is definitely an overstatement."

By January, they'd moved in together, met each other's families, and had appeared together at tons of events.

On their first anniversary, in June 2019, Sprouse posted another since-deleted post saying, "One whole year with smoogie. From China to NYC to the rest of the world. I'll save the sappiness for private, but my life is better now."

Through the pandemic, they had each other and found time to make up a baby-talk language together. As far as we know, they're still going strong. But let's revisit their early relationship.

The "Scary" Start Of Their Relationship

Even though the couple's relationship seems perfect, there was a time when Palvin wasn't so sure about dating Sprouse.

During a video for British Vogue, where Sprouse and Palvin took viewers along for a date, Palvin talked about her initial concerns dating the child star.

"I was kind of scared. I was single for so long before we started dating," she explained. "I had this thought like, 'Are we going to get paparazzi'ed all the time? Should I be worried? Do I have to dress nice from now on? Get ready every morning?'"

Sprouse understood her concern. "My thing is that that’s just going to happen. That’s a side effect of what’s going to happen but it’s also easily avoidable," he said.

But just because their relationship is very high-profile doesn't mean they have to worry about what the media thinks. All their concerned about is their relationship. We also found out that Palvin was the first to initiate their first kiss after getting sick of waiting for Sprouse to make the first move.

"It was 3 AM and I had to take control because you wouldn't kiss me! We'd been talking and texting for four months and I was like, 'Are you going to kiss me or what?'"

We're thrilled that Palvin had the courage to date Sprouse even though her initial thoughts on of relationship scared her. It's was probably a natural reaction, but we wouldn't know because we're not dating a celebrity.
