This has been reflected on her Food Network show, 'Valerie's Home Cooking', swapping out ingredients in some of her dishes to make them healthier. However, now that the show has been canceled from the Food Network lineup, Bertinelli will have to share her insights on Instagram.

Valerie Bertinelli And Eddie Van Halen’s Divorce Was Shocking

One celebrity couple that virtually everyone thought would stay together until death did them part was Valerie Bertinelli and Eddie Van Halen. Married from 1981 until 2007, Bertinelli and Van Halen stood side by side as both of them walked through the heyday of their careers.

After all, at the time Bertinelli and Van Halen walked down the aisle, Eddie’s band had already become a huge deal and Valerie was a star in her own right as an actor.

Throughout Valerie Bertinelli and Eddie Van Halen’s more than 20 years together, the couple had a son, and they seemed very happy together. And by all accounts, Van Halen was a great dad to their son.

For that reason, it makes sense that Bertinelli has made it clear during interviews and on social media that she has struggled with Van Halen’s passing. It has also been noted that Bertinelli was in the room alongside her son and Eddie’s widow when the late guitarist passed away.

After all, Bertinelli starred in the television drama Touched by an Angel from 2001 until 2003. Following that show’s end, it would take Bertinelli several years to find her next hit.

After Valerie Bertinelli’s marriage to Eddie Van Halen officially ended in 2007, she found success once again. Chosen to star in TV Land’s first original series, Bertinelli played a pivotal role in all the success that Hot in Cleveland enjoyed from 2010 until 2015.

What Is Valerie Bertinelli Doing Now?

After spending decades building a highly successful acting career, Valerie Bertinelli took many of her fans by surprise by embracing a different passion after Hot in Cleveland ended.

Hired to host a pair of Food Network shows, Bertinelli made Valerie's Home Cooking a huge success and her other show, Kids Baking Championship, is considered one of the channel’s current best series. Unfortunately, the Food Network decided to cancel Valerie's Home Cooking in 2023. The final episode aired in July. The reason for the cancelation is unknown.

Largely due to all the shows that she has headlined following her divorce, Bertinelli currently has a $20 million fortune.

Valerie also found love again after Van Halen. She married Tom Vitale in 2011, six years after they began dating, but did not have more children. Tom and Valerie filed for divorce in 2021.

By all appearances, however, Valerie seems satisfied with her life and career and is proud of her son, Wolfie and his musical prowess, which he no doubt inherited from his famous dad.
