Dancing With The Stars is currently in its 30th season. What makes the show interesting to the audience year after year is its diverse and exciting cast. All types of celebrities go on the show from former athletes and olympians, to reality and movie stars. The stars are paired with a professional dancer and compete in different styles of ballroom dance from the waltz to the tango. Judges Len Goodman, Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli then give the pairs scores and the highest move on to the next week.

This season in particular has attracted viewers, with stars Matt James, JoJo Siwa, Brian Austin Green, and Olivia Jade competing for the Mirrorball. With contestants dacning in themed costumes from Disney and Grease, this season has been a good one to watch. Because of the age range of the contestants, viewers of all ages know and relate to at least somebody on the show, even the teenagers! 8 Willow Shields

Willow Shields is best known for playing Primrose Everdeen in the Hunger Games franchise. She went on DWTS in 2015 when she was only 14 years old. Paired with Mark Ballas, Willow made it to the seventh episode before being eliminated. Since then, Willow has appeared in the Netflix show Spinning Out and a few other fims.

7 JoJo Siwa

JoJo Siwa is only 18 years old and made history on this season of DWTS for being in the first same-sex pairing with Jenna Johnson. Jenna told TV Insider how much fun she is having saying, “Seriously, it’s the best time. It’s such a joy to be able to perform with JoJo.” The duo has made it to the top 9 and will continue to compete against the other contestants including Jenna’s husband Val and his partner Olivia Jade.

6 Skai Jackson

Skai Jackson is most well known for her role on Disney Channel’s Jessie as the youngest sibling Zuri. Skai appeared on season 29 of DWTS with partner Alan Bersten at age 18. Reflecting on her time on the show, Skai told Entertainment Tonight, “I'm just happy that I was able to be on this journey with such an amazing person. I feel like we made it so far, we made it to week 10, we got through all the dances except for the finale and it's just been really awesome.”

5 Zendaya

Before much of Zendaya’s highly successful career, she competed on DWTS with partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy on season 16 back in 2013. She was only 16 years old at the time, and she made it all the way to the finale placing runner-up. Zendaya has continued to blow people away with her show business skills as she gracefully performed in The Greatest Showman and her other endeavors since.

4 Laurie Hernandez

At 16 years old, gymnast Laurie Hernandez won DWTS season 23, and still holds the title of the youngest contestant to win thus far. Known for being a part of the Final Five at the 2016 Olympics, Laurie is one of several Olympic gymnasts to compete on the show. Partnered with Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Laurie still keeps some of the lessons he taught her during their time on the show. She told Dance Dish “I think the biggest thing I took away with me was to be grateful,” she summed up. “My partner always said, ‘You know what, you get another week to dance. You get to be on the show. You get to do so many different things, so be grateful.’

3 Shawn Johnson

Another Olympic gymnast, Shawn Johnson, competed on DWTS back in 2009. Shawn was partnered with Mark Ballas for season 8 of the show and made it all the way to the finale and become the champion at age 17. Shawn held the title of the youngest to win the show until Laurie Hernandez broke the record in season 23. She did later return to the DWTS stage in 2012 to compete in the All Stars edition of the show with Derek Hough, where she received 2nd place.

2 Cody Linley

Best known as Hannah Montana’s heartthrob Jake Ryan, Cody Linley also competed on DWTS. He was 19 at the time and partnered with Julianne Hough, though had to also dance with Edyta Sliwnska when Hough was out for an injury. Cody recieved 4th place, and still holds the record as the youngest male to compete.

1 Bindi Irwin

Daughter of the late Steve Irwin, Bindi was partnered with Derek Hough in season 21 at age 17. The duo went on to win the Mirrorball Trophy. Although there were some disputes about her earnings as she was a minor, Bindi told TMZ that she would be donating everything back to wildlife conservation.
