Despite all the controversy Ellen DeGeneres is going through at the moment, there is no denying, her talk show longevity is truly something else. The Ellen Show made its debut way back in 2003. Almost two decades later and 18 seasons in, the show is still going strong despite all the mishaps taking place.

It is evident, Ellen is doing her absolute best to fix up her image these days. However, Ellen is still giving and then some. She’s also reminiscing on some of her best moments via IG, in truth, there are so many to choose from. This moment, in particular, took place 14 years ago, the conversation took place between Ellen and the famous, Gladys. The simple conversation started because Gladys requested Ellen change the positioning of her plant, as it was making Ellen look as though she was having a bad hair day. Little did the viewers know, the conversation would turn into one of the most hilarious segments in the show’s history, all thanks to her tremendous wit! In truth, they should’ve made their phone conversation a weekly occurrence.
