Back in 2004, Entourage was the show to watch. Unfortunately, as time has gone on, people have started to claim that the series is problematic today and that it doesn't hold up. We are here to say that these claims are totally false. The show is hilarious and it actually highlighted major issues in Hollywood before anyone else was touching the subject, it just did so in a comical way. Haters are going to hate, but Jeremy Piven's performance as Ari Gold alone makes this show a masterpiece.

Now, HBO has tons of spectacular shows and even more coming to HBO Max once it launches later this month. However, Entourage will always remain one of their best comedies. Today, we're ranking the series' best celebrity appearances and believe us, you'll be watching season 1 by the end of this list.

15 ScarJo Before Black Widow

We know everyone is waiting to see whether or not we'll be getting the Black Widow movie on Disney+ earlier than expected, but there is another (more hilarious) way to watch our girl. In a season 1 episode, Scarlett Johansson makes a brief but awesome cameo. Obviously, she agrees to a date with Vinnie Chase.

14 An HBO Favorite

Of course, Peter Dinklage's cameo came before he landed his role on Game of Thrones, but still, the guy is clearly an HBO golden boy. In season 2, he appeared at the Sundance Festival and had a brief but hysterical conversation with Ari Gold, who he clearly isn't a fan of.

13 Snoop Showed Up In Season 4

Snoop Dogg is a big HBO fan. After all, he wrote an entire song about True Blood's Sookie. Unfortunately, he did not gift us with a performance during his season 4 Entourage cameo, but it was still fun watching him dish with E and Vince about the Medellin trailer.

12 Larry David Is Always A Treat

Curb Your Enthusiasm had already kicked off by the time Entourage was premiering, so we're guessing it wasn't too difficult to rope Larry David in for his quick season 1 appearance. In the scene, he obviously gets into it with Ari and then is hilariously pestered by Johnny Drama for a part in his show. Classic.

11 Mandy Moore Broke Vinnie's Heart

Mandy Moore actually had a several episode story arc. When she's cast as Vince's love interest in Aquaman, it's revealed that they have a rough history. While working on A Walk to Remember, they had a brief romance which ended with Vince stalking her. Mandy is always wonderful, but she gets bonus points for being the first girl to steal Vince's heart.

10 Whoopi Wasn't Even The Best Part Of Her Own Cameo

Even though we really do love Whoopi Goldberg, her season 5 cameo is ranking here thanks to her scene partner, Johnny Drama. Whoopi pesters him during a live interview which leads to a hilarious (though not uncommon) breakdown for Drama. The poor guy can never catch a break.

9 Kanye To The Rescue

When the boys needed a ride to Cannes in season 4, Kanye West was the one to save the day. All flights were down and there were no private jets available. Who else to call in this type of dilemma, right? Kanye was perfectly Kanye in the cameo and we wouldn't have expected anything less.

8 They Actually Got Martin Scorsese!

The sheer number of A-listers Entourage managed to have appear is truly impressive and something that's never really been done before, as they all got the chance to play themselves. In the season 5 finale, just when all seemed lost for Vince, Marty calls him up and offers him the lead in The Great Gatsby.

7 Poor Sofia Vergara

Before landing her breakthrough role on Modern Family, Sofia Vergara played Billy Walsh's muse for a couple of episodes of Entourage. Unfortunately for her character, Billy  lets his obsession with her get out of hand and as fans of the show already know, this was when Medellin really started to collapse.

6 What A Haircut!

Oh yes, even a young floppy-haired Zac Efron was keen to appear on this hit show. In season 6, Ari manages to steal him from his previous talent agency. It's a very quick cameo, but an awesome one all the same. While on the phone, Zac is obviously being swooned over by female fans.

5 Can't Have One Without The Other

Ok, so technically, these two never actually appeared together, but there was some crossover between their storylines. Bob Saget actually showed up a few times throughout the series, each appearance being more widely inappropriate than the last. Incorporating John Stamos into the mix was just the cherry on top.

4 Stan Lee Is The King Of Cameos

Stan Lee could have been part of just about any storyline and we would have ranked the cameo this high on the list. The comic book legend is known for showing up in Marvel projects, so it makes sense that when Vince was debating a role in Air-Walker, they'd have him pop up. Season 7 wasn't the best, but Stan makes it worth it.

3 Jeffrey Tambor's Scenes Were Some Of The Best

Jeffrey Tambor may not be the biggest celeb on this list, but his performance speaks for itself. Playing himself and a client of Ari Gold's, Tambor has a way of annoying Ari like nobody else can. He shows up in three different episodes, but it's season 6's 'Fore!' that landed him this high on the list.

2 Eminem Did What Needed To Be Done

By the season 7 finale, Vince has completely lost his way and is on track to ruin his and all of his friends' lives. He's in desperate need of a wake up call and who better to give him one than Eminem? While crashing a party thrown by the famous rapper, Vince says every wrong thing and gets punched out by Mr. Mathers personally. Amazing.

1 Mark Wahlberg's Many Appearances For The Win

As fans already know, Entourage was loosely based on Mark Wahlberg's own life as an up-and-coming star. While he totally stole the show each time he appeared, it was his cameo in the Entourage movie that really sealed the deal. Having made fun of Drama throughout most of the series, it was so fitting to have him be the one to award Johnny his Golden Globe. VICTORY!
