FKA Twigs has found an ally in Evan Rachel Wood amid her recent abuse allegations against actor Shia LaBeouf. The singer made headlines last week after she revealed the details of the civil lawsuit she made against her former boyfriend, which she filed back in December 2020.

FKA Twigs has accused LaBeouf of assault, sexual battery, and inflicting emotional distress. The actor denies all abuse accusations made by the Grammy-nominated 33-year old, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett.

Last month, Evan Rachel Wood also made allegations of abuse against her former boyfriend, Brian Warner. Warner is widely known as heavy-metal rock musician, Marilyn Manson. As a fellow survivor of domestic abuse, she voiced her support for FKA Twigs on Instagram Monday.

In FKA Twigs' first television interview, CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King asked FKA Twigs, "I often wonder if it's even appropriate to ask … why didn't you leave?"

To which FKA Twigs replied, "I think we have to stop asking that question. I know that you're asking it out of love, but I'm just going to make a stance and say I'm not going to answer that question anymore. Because the question should really be to the abuser: Why are you holding someone hostage with abuse? People say it can't have been that bad, because else you would've left. But it's like, no, it's because it was that bad, I couldn't leave."

Evan Rachel Wood agrees that this is a question the world needs to stop asking victims of domestic abuse. FKA Twigs made it clear she would not be interrogated in this manner in the future, stating, "I’m not going to answer that question anymore because the question should really be to the abuser, ‘Why are you holding someone hostage?’”

The Westworld actress has supported FKA Twigs' survival journey from the beginning, saying the singer's published Elle interview was, a "good conversation." Wood was one of the many celebrities to comment on FKA Twig's initial Instagram post, where she discussed her abuse at the hands of actor Shia LaBeouf for the first time.

Evan Rachel Wood is encouraging other abuse victims of her own ex-boyfriend, Marilyn Manson, to come forward. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating new claims of abuse against the rock musician.

Amid both stars' allegations of abuse, fans of Evan Rachel Wood and FKA Twigs are calling for justice to be served.
