Nicki Minaj is constantly making music and dropping new tracks. The rapper has released four studio albums and has worked in countless collaborations with many different musicians throughout her career. 2020 is no exception. Obviously, there are now many obstacles when it comes to recording and meeting with other artists, but Minaj hasn't let that slow her down.

The songs she's released so far this year are both solo work and collaborations, and, as expected, they've been huge successes. Every fan will choose their favorites, but for those who haven't listened to them yet and want to know where to start, here are all of her songs released this year, ranked.

5 Not Sorry

Minaj collaborated with Rich The Kid on this song and it was an instant success. This song is part of Rich The Kid's new album Boss Man, which was released on March 13, 2020. Since the moment of its release, the song gathered thousands of views online and has now gotten almost 650,000 views on YouTube. The album itself is also a great success, and this collaboration was one of its best songs. Nicki Minaj is widely appreciated as an artist, and the 27-year-old rapper was very happy to have her on board of his new project.

"I just had this song that was perfect to get her on and then she just killed it, this monster verse," said Rich The Kid in an interview with Rap-Up. "She’s like one of the first to start the wave for all the other female rappers."

4 Yikes

"Yikes" is a promotional single Minaj released in February of this year. The song debuted at number 23 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and got to number 6 on the US Rolling Stone Top 100. Even though there was some controversy about the content of the lyrics, it quickly became a hit. Right now it has over 21 million views on YouTube.

The way Minaj wrote this song is impressive. "I made up the hook with no paper. Just freestyled in the booth cuz I loved the beat. so the yikes part is me hearing the beat for the very first time. The verses I wrote down. The outro was a freestyle," she said on her Twitter account.

3 Nice To Meet Ya

This song is a collaboration with singer Meghan Trainor, for Trainor's new album Treat Myself. It was released on January 31 and it was immediately a commercial success, even if it received mixed reviews from critics. The music video features both of the artists as office workers, dancing in an office full of male coworkers. In the video, Minaj introduces herself to one of the men as "Boss B**ch Nicki Minaj." The video has had over 23 million views on YouTube so far.

According to an interview with Forbes, Meghan has listened to Minaj's songs throughout the latter's career. She says she's very excited about singing this song live. For obvious reasons, there's no way of knowing when that will happen, but Meghan says she's ready.

"'Nice To Meet Ya,' that one's gonna be hot and I'm gonna do Nicki's verse, which I have under control. I got it, I got her accent, I got everything," she said in the same interview with Forbes. "I've been growing up trying to learn Nicki Minaj's raps my whole life so I got it, it's easy for me at this point. I wouldn't say I'm the best, but I'm very under control. I remember I performed it for someone, we were listening to it. He's like, 'Oh my god, you sound like her.' So that'll be fun."

2 Say So - Remix

This song is a single from Doja Cat's second studio album Hot Pink, which was released in 2019. The single was a success in itself, but this year Doja decided to do a remix of the song with Nicki Minaj. The remix made it to the top of the US Billboard Hot 100, making it the first number 1 single for both rappers.

Doja expressed her admiration for Minaj in an interview with Power 105.1 and said that she doesn't know why she doesn't get as much recognition as she should. "It’s the weirdest thing and I have yet to understand. I feel like she deserves a lot more, absolutely. Since I was like 13, I’ve been the biggest fan ever. When she said she quit music I’m like ‘No you didn’t!’ and I’m very happy she didn’t."

The remix got over 22 million views on YouTube, and even though the only official music video for the song doesn't feature Minaj since it was made before the remix, a dance video can be found in Nicki Minaj's YouTube channel.

1 Trollz

Nicki Minaj wrote this song with rapper 6ix9ine, and it became Minaj's second number 1 single. The song spent a whole week in number 1, dropping to number 34 the next week. It became the largest fall for a number-one debut. The music video shows the two rappers dancing and singing in a room, changing their colorful outfits and generally just playing around. It's had so far over 200 million views on YouTube.

A little over a month ago, Nicki Minaj announced on Twitter that she was donating part of her profits from that song.

"A portion of the proceeds from #Trollz including merch items, will be going directly to The Bail Project Inc. The fund provides free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can’t afford to pay bail. #BlackLivesMatter."
