Against all odds, Donald Trump became President of the United States in 2017. Not only that, but Trump did what many thought he could never do: serve a whole 4 year term. Although a divisive figure, the 45th POTUS will undoubtedly be remembered in the history books, along with the likes of Ronald Reagan, another non-politician who managed to become President. Moreover, he has paved the way for other reality TV stars who want to venture into politics.

But having lost the 2020 presidential election to Democrat Joe Biden, what has Trump been up to? Despite no longer flashing on our TV screens 24/7, he has actually been keeping super busy. Here's everything he's been up to since his presidency.

10 Getting Banned From Twitter

Following the Capitol Hill riots, Twitter permanently banned Trump to reduce the risk of "further incitement to violence". While many celebs celebrated his ban, others argued that it was the wrong decision.

For instance, the left-wing Jacobin Magazine argued that "Trump didn't really incite the violence via Twitter - he Tweeted, but people saw the speech on TV... So, if we believe he should be banned from Twitter surely he should be banned from TV too?" Trump has also been banned from Facebook for 2 years.

9 So He Tried To Start His Own Rival To Twitter

As a result of his Twitter ban, Trump decided to start his own rival to the social media giant, "From the Desk of Donald J. Trump". Admittedly, that title isn't nearly as catchy as those of his rivals.

There was one major problem with the site: it wasn't remotely a social media platform. Rather, it was a mere blog. Unfortunately for Trump, the site was shut down in early June, less than a month after it launched.

8 These Days He Devotes His Time To The Mar-A-Largo Club

Trump can now be found at his club on the Mar-a-Largo resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The club has become his primary residence following his departure from the White House.

Although there was initially opposition to Trump using the Mar-A-Largo estate as his residence, he has been permitted to establish an office there as long as he uses it solely for post-presidential employment purposes. He has also made some celeb pals at the club, including Sylvester Stallone, who joined in April.

7 Donald Trump: Wedding Crasher

In March, Trump crashed a wedding at Mar-A-Largo. Rather than toast the happy couple, he gave a lengthy speech in which he voiced his dislike for President Joe Biden. A video of his speech was obtained by TMZ and the guests can be heard cheering him on.

In addition to becoming a wedding crasher, he has also reportedly been crashing memorial services.

6 Plagued By Many Lawsuits

Currently, Trump is plagued by a jaw-dropping 29 lawsuits. These range from investigations into his possible involvement in the Capitol Hill riots to sexual misconduct allegations.

Although Trump dodged assault claims during his presidency, the sexual misconduct lawsuits have increased exponentially since his departure. Former The Apprentice contestant Summer Zervos is among those taking legal action against the former president, with claims that he kissed and touched her without consent. Trump denies all allegations against him, calling them a "hoax".

5 And A Shocking Claim By A Friend Of Jeffrey Epstein

Infamously, Trump was once seen hanging out with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who died in jail in 2019. Epstein's closest friend, Ghislaine Maxwell, is currently awaiting trial for her alleged involvement in helping the financier traffic young girls.

Maxwell has claimed that Epstein had "tapes" of both Trump and fellow ex-President Bill Clinton. However, she has not said whether these tapes contain incriminating evidence. Trump has stated that he was never friends with Epstein and also condemned him following his death, stoking conspiracy theories about his suicide actually being a murder. He has, however, wished Maxwell luck with her court case.

4 His Business Dealings Are Being Scrutinized

In May, it was announced that a special grand jury had been convened in New York, where the Attorney General's office is investigating his business dealings. Much of the investigation is focused on potential tax fraud, specifically tax write offs claimed by the Trump Organization, as well as his campaign expenditure. He denies all allegations of impropriety.

3 He Has Resumed His Campaign Rallies

Earlier this month, Trump surprised both his supporters and detractors by resuming presidential-style campaign rallies. He began the reboot at the North Carolina Republican Party's state convention, where he gave a speech that lasted almost 90 minutes. He told his supporters that he is "trying to save" democracy.

He will reportedly be spending the summer embarking on rallies across the country.

2 And He's Befriended Bill O'Reilly

After leaving the White House, Trump has been forging many new friendships. Among these new pals is former Fox News anchor Bill O'Reilly, who will be joining Trump on his rallies, effectively becoming his tour mate.

The pair are set to embark on The History Tour, which will commence in Florida in December, before moving onto Texas and numerous other states.

1 He Aims To Make A Comeback In August

While Twitter users have joked about a Meghan Markle vs. Donald Trump 2024 election, that prospect doesn't look too unlikely these days. The former president appears determined to make a comeback, even claiming that he could be reinstated as early as August of this year.
