Despite the latter's initial negative reception, the 2001 movie became a cult hit, being cited as a satirical take on American pop culture and was even called a secret success by the A.V. Club.

9 Married Daniel Gillies

Around the same year her cult movie was released, Rachael met Daniel Gillies, of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals fame, and started dating, and they became engaged after five months of dating. After three years of waiting, Rachael and Daniel got married.

It would take years for them to start a family, but by waiting longer after getting engaged quickly and for being busy in their professional lives, patience was a strong virtue for the couple at the time.

8 Went Into Voice Acting

Starring Emma Roberts, the film received lukewarm reviews, but it was a fun take on the famous teen detective's adventure in Los Angeles. It was also a box office success, earning ten million dollars more compared to its budget.

6 Became A Mother To Two Children

The 2010s became the time where Rachael would finally become a mom. It took nearly ten years of marriage for Rachael and Daniel to start becoming parents. They weren't immediately planning to have kids after getting married, but rather took their time until they felt they were ready.

Robot Chicken also parodied the 1997 ad with Rachael taking her role back. Due to its cult status, the "This Is Your Brain on Drugs" commercial made its 20th anniversary with Rachael reprising her role.

Released on 4/20, the ad criticizes the War on Drugs and its problematic contribution to mass incarceration, racism, and poverty in families. It can be watched on YouTube and the difference is stagnating, except for Rachael still manages to look ageless.

3 Got A Divorce From Her Ex-Husband

Unfortunately, not every marriage is a guaranteed happily ever after. After 20 years, Rachael and Daniel called it quits with their divorce being finalized on March 10, 2021. The two separated in 2019, and her ex-husband filed for divorce a year later.

Fans were rightfully upset and it was a shock to many. As they both stated, it was not an easy decision, but they still love and respect each other as parents. We hope that they remain on good terms and continue to be amazing parents to their kids.

2 Appeared On 'Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune'

A lot of celebrities appeared on Celebrity Family Feud, but not Rachael. She instead appeared in an episode of Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune. The episode aired on February 16, 2021 and also features actors Sherri Shepherd and Kevin Nealon.

One of the best highlights of the episode is Rachael placing her hands on her head in a mini freak-out session when Sherri and Kevin couldn't figure out the puzzle, which was Vanna and Walter White. She guessed correctly for ten thousand, which put her back on the board since she had no money at first.

1 Making Her Return In The Remake

Rachael surprised fans with the announcement that she will appear in the remake of She's All That. Being gender swapped, He's All That will focus on a male protagonist with a similar plotline to the 1999 movie. She will not be reprising her character, but instead play as Addison Rae's on-screen mother.

Netflix will surely have to bank in on winning fans over with the remake. Plus, adding She's All That in the inventory will be an instant win. All we have to do is just wait patiently.
