People probably remember Rebel Wilson from Pitch Perfect and Cats, but she has been doing all sorts of things lately. She has always been a very versatile artist, capable of doing stand-up comedy, dramas, reality TV, and everything in between. She's also a very talented producer, writer, and TV presenter.
Lately, she has been doing very interesting projects, especially in comedy, while also focusing on her personal life. She has recently changed her routine for the better and tried new things. 10 She Hosted 'Last One Laughing Australia'
There isn't anyone funnier than Rebel Wilson, that's something everybody can agree on. So when it came to choosing a host for LOL: Last One Laughing Australia, she was the obvious choice. The show consists of the ten best comedians in Australia, sitting around a table together and having a conversation. Each of them brings their A-game, and they try to make each other laugh. They have to keep a straight face, or else they will be eliminated. The winner will be the last one to laugh.
9 She Was Part Of 'Property Brothers'
Property Brothers is one of the best HGTV shows. For those who aren't familiar with it, it shows the Scott brothers helping people turn their houses into their dream homes. Sometimes, celebrities ask them to help someone they love make their dreams come true. This was the case of Rebel, who wanted her hairdresser and close friend, Nicole Leal, to have the house she had always wanted and deserved. She had a lot of fun doing it and was happy to do something for her friend.
8 She Hosted 'Pooch Perfect'
The British reality TV show Pooch Perfect, apart from being a clever wordplay with Rebel Wilson's Pitch Perfect, is a dog grooming show, which features several challenges. Professional dog stylists compete, and the winner is chosen by a jury of styling experts, including Amber Lewin and Colin Taylor.
They win a 100 thousand dollars prize. Rebel is the host, and will also be the host of the US version of the show, which will be made this year.
7 She Had A Great Time At The Mammoth Film Festival
About a year ago, right before the pandemic broke and people were required to stay at home, Rebel joined Tony Hawk, Dennis Rodman, Alexis Knapp, Mariano Di Vaio, Mickey Gooch, and Ryan Rottman at the Mammoth Film Festival, and on their time off the group went to play bowling. Little did she know it would be the last time she got to play before the quarantine. She posted several pictures and videos of that fun day and tagged all her friends. Hopefully, fans will see the group together again soon.
6 She Celebrated Her Birthday In Disneyland
Rebel was one of the few people who got to celebrate their birthday in 2020 before everything closed down, and she chose to do it in style. Right before Disneyland closed, she went there with a few friends to celebrate her 40th birthday. She paid to be there after Disneyland closed down, and she treated her friends to a luxury dinner at 21 Royale. Afterward, they got to enjoy the parks after dark, without the tourists, and they all had an amazing time.
5 She Went To An AFL Game
A few months ago, for the first time in her life, Rebel went to an AFL game. And, apparently, she loved it. Given the current situation, there were only 350 people allowed in the stadium, but she is lucky enough to know people in the GWS Giants AFL.
She got her tickets and went with some friends. It was a weird but great experience for her, and she was very happy she had the opportunity to go.
4 She Worked On 'Bad Ideas'
Several months ago, Rebel had teased her fans with a little video of the making of the show Bad Ideas. She then posted stories and pictures with Adam Devine, her "work husband." The purpose of the show is to film Rebel and Adam in different locations, doing dangerous stunts.
"This was either one of our good ideas or a really BAD IDEA! Either way @andydevine and I certainly got some action x and always great to have my stuntin’ sister @bamastunts by my side," she wrote on a post.
3 She Tried Surfing For The First Time
Last year was perfect to try new activities in nature. Staying inside was boring and difficult to handle, but having people over was not safe, and it still isn't in many cases, but going to the beach with a small group of friends is a great alternative. While in Malibu, Rebel decided to take a surfing lesson for the first time. She went with a couple of friends who knew what they were doing and she spent the day at the beach with them learning to ride the waves.
2 She Traveled To Monaco
When the opportunity to take a luxury trip to Monaco appears, you take it. Back then Rebel was dating Jacob Busch, and the happy couple traveled with a group of friends to a Miró exhibition at the Nouveau Musée National Monaco. They got to meet many incredible people, as well as spending a romantic getaway, and the actress was over the moon.
"Meeting the Prince with a Prince Charming by my side - what a night to remember in Monaco," she wrote in a post where she shared several pictures of that magical night.
1 She Spent Some Time In Austria
For Rebel, it was always very important to be health-conscious, and she found a way to do that through VIVAMAYR Altaussee, a luxury medical health resort in Austria, where she spent a few weeks in late 2020. She went skiing, played with the snow, and more importantly, learned to take better care of herself.
