When we were first introduced to Nicole Elizabeth Polizzi, she was a tiny, fierce force of nature who we've come to expect the unexpected from when it came to escapades on MTV's hit reality show Jersey Shore (remember some of their most famous quotes? Good times). But those days seem like a lifetime ago, and we feel we've watched the dynamo, known lovingly as Snooki, mature before our very eyes.
So what has she been up to since those popular, fun loving days? Has much changed? Turns out, quite a few things are notably different about the star. Here are a few things that Snooki has been up to since the realty show.
10 Of Course, ‘Snooki & Jwoww’
Some would say that both Snooki and JWoww, also known as Jennifer Farley, were two of the most well-known people from the hit reality series, so it makes sense they would end up getting their own spin off show called Snooki & Jwoww.
The show basically revolved around the two of them living together, in which they described as "a modern day Laverne & Shirley." Though, of course, the plot line for the original idea had to veer a tad when it was announced that Snooki was pregnant.
9 ‘Nicole & Jionni’s Shore Flip’
Around the same time her show with JWoww began, Snooki announced her engagement to Jionni LaValle and the happy couple eventually embarked on a DIY series called Nicole & Jionni's Shore Flip in 2016 where, they of course, flipped houses.
8 ‘Dancing With The Stars’
In between jobs, Snooki ended up doing what a lot of reality show actors end up doing - competing on Dancing With the Stars. She was featured on the 17th season and was partnered up with the then-newcomer Sasha Farber. They came in 8th place.
"I'm glad that everyone got to see the real me on Dancing with the Stars," Snooki shared in an interview with TV Guide. "My life has changed completely since Jersey Shore and I love being a mother. Being able to show the fans and audience that was really something special to me."
7 Can’t Forget ‘WWE Monday Night Raw’
In case fans didn't know, Snooki was a familiar face on WWE's Monday Night Raw. That's right, she had her own segment where she would get into brawl's with some of the show's most notable hosts. She actually showed up a few times on the program and even won the WWE 2011 A-Lister of the Year Slammy Award.
6 Her Novels
We're sure fans are already aware of this, but Snooki is a popular author who has penned three novels. The first, A Shore Thing, was released in 2011, which led to appearances on the talk show circuit. Her second novel, Confessions of a Guidette, which was part-memoir, part-guide of how to "rock it Jersey-style" was released later that year. Her third novel, Gorilla Beach, came out a year later in 2012.
She wasn't done after those, though. Her fourth book Baby Bumps was released in 2013 and Strong is the New Sexy was released in 2015.
5 Family Life For Her
Yes, Mrs. Snooki does have a family and absolutely loves being a mom, judging by her Instagram feed. Her first pregnancy in 2012 seemed to affect the basic plot for her and JWoww's spinoff show, since the show was expected to revolve around their party lifestyles. Instead, the show focused on her pregnancy and her as a mother. Snooki's second child was born in 2014 and her third came along in 2019.
4 Legal Troubles?
Even after Jersey Shore (where Snooki always we getting in trouble and you can watch her reactions to some of the best moments on TikTok,) Snooki still had run-ins with the law. She even got into some international trouble in Florence, Italy after crashing into a parked traffic police car.
3 ‘The New Celebrity Apprentice’
In order to gain ratings, when Snooki was a contestant on The New Celebrity Apprentice, they promoted her as "not the same girl from Jersey Shore." When she appeared on the then-Arnold Schwarzenegger hosted reality show in 2017, it was clear she had grown up a bit from her Jersey Shore days.
2 Web Series
Talk about growing up. Recently, both Snooki and JWoww started a web series where they give life lessons on motherhood, and of course, it's as hilarious as it sounds thanks to their sass. "My kid is actually Lucifer," JWoww joked. The show is filled with soon-to-be-classic moments like that with both moms.
In addition, to her series with JWoww, Snooki also holds a popular podcast with another good friend, Joey Camasta called It's Happening with Snooki & Joey.
1 The Snooki Shop, 'Beach Cabana' & COVID
Just because you're famous doesn't mean you're immune to a global pandemic. In February 2021, Snooki announced that she tested positive for COVID-19 and was isolating with her family, all of whom had tested negative.
Thankfully, she is doing a lot better now and has wasted no time getting back into the swing of things with her popular boutique, "The Snooki Shop" and her new design competition HGTV show for Discovery+ called Beach Cabana Royale.
