Some celebs are all about posting professional pics to their social media. Anybody who follows Abigail Breslin, however, knows that the actress likes to keep things a little more natural. The twenty-four year old from Little Miss Sunshine and former child star is all about posting grainy, old cellphone shots of her cats, her friends and even the inside of an elevator. Basically, she captures moments that pretty much any typical American girl lives out on a daily basis. As a result, it’s fair to say that fans who follow the actress on Instagram don’t get a real feel for those red carpet moments that make Breslin’s life in the spotlight so fascinating to Hollywood outsiders.

Breslin’s Hidden Glitz & Glam
Just because Breslin doesn’t share her glamour shots to social media, doesn’t mean they don’t exist. The actress has been photographed by the paparazzi at numerous Hollywood events in the past few years, and the best part is that she likes to show up with a special guy in tow.
In 2019, Just Jared spotted Breslin at the Tony Awards dressed in a sleek black gown and holding hands with Ira Kenyansky. The pair went for a simple, classic look as they walked into Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Kenyansky stood by his girlfriend’s side in a black suit with a silver tie to match.
This was hardly the last time that the couple went out on the town and rubbed shoulders with the performance world’s elite. Before the current crisis this year, Getty Images paparazzi snapped some gorgeous pix of Breslin and Kenyansky at the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscars party. Once again, the pair rocked the color black. Breslin, however, played her outfit a little less safe in a cropped, feathered cocktail dress. Kenyansky showed the world his formal side in a tux. Very chic!
Who Is Kenyansky?
The repeated celebrity appearances of Breslin and her date have some fans wondering more about the guy who stole the heart of Little Miss Sunshine. According to his Facebook page, Kenyansky currently lives in Los Angeles. However, he is originally from the other side of the world. Kenyansky was actually born in a beachside town in Ukraine, called Odessa.
Perhaps it’s fitting that the young Ukrainian crossed the globe to meet his girl, because Kenyansky works at a major travel company called SBE. As expected, he has taken Breslin on all sorts of fun trips, and the actress definitely seems to be loving all of the adventure. Breslin even made an appreciation post on her Instagram where she calls Kenyansky, “the dude who always carries my luggage and guitar through airports.” How sweet!
So, with all of the traveling and red carpet appearances, how long have the two been together? According to Breslin’s Facebook page, the pair became “FB official” on July 16, 2017.
Trouble In Paradise?
While the couple clearly seems to be enjoying each other’s company, they seem to have some major differences in political opinion that could very well tear them apart.
Kenyansky, on one hand, appears to be a committed Trump supporter, as his social media is plastered with Republican cartoons and images. One drawing on his profile shows the middle class slamming a pie into Obama’s face, with the caption: “Trump economic boom.” Even his cover photo shows the president riding a bear’s back and gripping an American flag.
On the other hand, Breslin has come out and made some anti-Trump statements on her own social media page. In one post, she slammed the president for his attitude towards gun regulations. “President Trump responding to this mass shooting with saying simply he ‘felt bad’ and ‘god bless’ and then posting a photo of him and an MMA fighter only MOMENTS later...is extremely insensitive and wrong in my opinion,” Breslin wrote on her Facebook page.
The actress also came out and criticized “right wingers” for what she sees as their inability to criticize the republican president. In the same post, she expressed shock at the resistance to recognizing any of Trump’s flaws. “The doggedness of Trump supporters,” Breslin wrote, “seems to be unrelenting and unflinching.”
So how do these views affect Breslin’s view of her boyfriend? We have no idea. But, we are also glad that we won’t be attending Thanksgiving at their house this year!
