As Mike is now married to Lauren, he is (by default) a dog-lover - along with his wife, he's a parent to Franny, who is a Chihuahua and Maltese-Yorkie mix. Lauren adopted Franny six years ago and Franny hasn't been without her mommy since.

That's right, as we touched on earlier, both Mike and Lauren are from Illinois. Lauren is from Evanston while Mike is from Chicago.
