Below Deck's beloved Captain Lee is back in the bridge after joining later on in the show's ninth season, and he's laying down the law!

While many viewers were taken aback by the sternness of the interim captain who held the fort in Lee Rosbach's absence, the latter certainly hasn't held back from calling out the crew's wild antics this season, either.

In fact, he recently took to his blog, Captain's Log, to air his frustrations at seeing the crew's shenanigans play out on the show - even going as far as saying that had he been privy to some of their escapades at the moment, things would have panned out differently aboard My Seanna.

Sitting down with TheThings, Captain Lee elaborated on his thoughts about the crew's behavior - plus, he shared some words of wisdom for yachties looking to stay on his good side.

Captain Lee On The Crew's Disastrous Night Out

Thinking back on the season's sixth episode, Captain Lee shared via his blog that he was not amused by what took place when the crew spent the night out. In fact, he pointed out that, had he witnessed the outing firsthand, the evening would have had an entirely different ending.

Speaking exclusively to TheThings, he doubled down on those previous assertions.

"Yeah, their evening out would have ended rather abruptly."

"And for some of them," he continues, "they'd have been damn lucky to just have their jobs, if they still had their jobs at all, in the morning."

Not one to tolerate poor behavior, he adds, "and had I gotten any backtalk from them about it, their job probably would have ended right there on the spot."

However, the Captain also points out, with a glint in his eye, that he wouldn't expect backtalk to begin with: "I'm sure they know that about me."

Captain Lee Explains Why The Crew's Wild Night Out Upset Him

On a night out, Captain Lee gives everyone the same guidelines: "don't embarrass yourself and don't embarrass the boat!"

Given that, as Vulture pointed out in their recap of the episode, the raucous night out included stripping, skinnydipping, and a now-infamous makeout session between two crew members (an event neither of the aforementioned crew members could remember the next morning), it's safe to say those guidelines just didn't feature for the crew of My Seanna - and therein lies the problem.

How To Conduct Yourself On A Yachtie's Night Out, By Captain Lee

So, getting too wild on a night out is a major no-no, but how should yachties behave on a night off? According to Captain Lee, there's nothing wrong with having a good time - but all within reason.

"Are there times where you're going to go right up to the line and push the envelope a little bit? Sure, and I get that!"

In fact, he chuckles, "I remember when I was that age, I was probably more of a line straddler than I was a pusher."

The caveat, however, is, "you have to be able to come back from it."

"You can't sacrifice your self-dignity and integrity for what you perceive to be a good time, and then get up the next morning and have to ask your mates, 'well, what did I do last night?' And then they start showing you pictures," he explains, eyes widening as he goes.

Ultimately, he concludes, "you still have to go back and work with these people, and I would find that extremely difficult, given some of the behavior."

"I would not want to come out of my room if I'd done some of the things that they'd done!" Well, aspiring yachties, there you have it: if you want to stay on board, it's best to avoid going overboard!
