Sarah Emig recently opened up to TheThings about choosing Mr Wrong on FBOY Island, but where does she stand with Garrett Morosky today? In a new exclusive interview, she shared how she feels about the self-professed 'King of the FBoys,' post-filming.

"Anyone with eyes can see Garrett is an FBoy," Sarah laughed - affirming that she knew he was an Fboy from the start. However, as Insider and Bustle have reported, she decided to take a chance on him, anyway - and the rest is history.

The Truth About Garrett's Relationship With His Ex

That being said, there were red flags along the way. Possibly the most luminous amongst them was his ex (and Love Island star!), Lauren Coogan.

As FBOY Island viewers will remember, Sarah ultimately decided to FaceTime Lauren to get to the bottom of her relationship with Garrett - more specifically, to see whether the two really were broken up. Sarah's biggest concern, however, was that Lauren would say Garrett ended things purely to get onto the show: "that would have been an Fboy move!"

Luckily, it turned out that they really weren't together. Better still, Sarah explained, "it seemed like it was mutual. [Lauren] had nothing bad to say about him."

As for the logistics of Garrett's ex happening to be on another dating show, Sarah shared that she had some suspicions. "It seemed fishy," she conceded - and she wasn't alone!

"CJ [Franco] thought they were in cahoots, and it definitely does look like that!" Sarah continued.

However, it turns out there's one thing the 'King of the FBoys' was honest about: he and Lauren definitely did split. "It's confirmed," Sarah shrugged.

Sarah Weighs In On Garrett's Motives On FBOY Island

Asked if she thought Garrett joined the cast of FBOY Island to become a reality star, Sarah didn't miss a beat, laughing, "oh, absolutely!"

In fact, she added, "I think he made it very clear that he wasn't [even] there for the money."

"He wanted to get clout and fame from the show, and that's what he got."

Be that as it may, don't expect Sarah to come forward as his #1 fan. Even though she admitted that if she were in his position at the finale, she, "may have done the same," this social media manager was quick to identify the flaws in his strategy.

The BIGGEST Mistake Garrett Made, According To Sarah

"I was pretty surprised by his answer at the finale, because, to me," Sarah pondered, "it seemed like a stupid decision to not split the money."

"It was the ultimate f-you move to get attention, and it worked" she added - but she has a feeling that's only going to come back to bite him in future.

"Even if he didn't want to be in a relationship with me, we could have split the $100k 50/50 and broken up afterwards. I wouldn't have cared about that," she continued. "For him to take the money, he's forever branded himself as an FBoy."

Well, personal branding aside, let's not forget that the $100k that could have been split ultimately ended up at a charity of Sarah's choice, rather than into his bank account - so we'd say karma is already working it's magic!

As For 'THAT' TMZ Video...

So, in light of what transpired at the finale, why, oh why, did TMZ catch the two at Erewhon?

"After seeing how everything went down, he wanted to express that he was sorry," Sarah explained. "He's apologized to me in person," - enter Erewhon - "and he wants to do a big public apology, too."

Where Do Sarah And Garrett Stand Today?

"Honestly, I could care less. Everything that went down did affect me in a very real way, so while I think it's great that he wants to apologize, I want to focus on myself and my own career."

As for those hoping the two clearing the air might mean a reunion, Sarah was quick to dispell any rumors, spicily concluding: "there's nothing to be concerned about."
