"We exchanged numbers, and he would call and call and call. I wouldn't respond. Finally, one day I picked up the phone and he invited me to come hang out with him and I went for it. I went in."

8 The Two Slept In The Living Room

Anyone who is a fan of either of the two knows that both stars love living on a rather wild side — and in an interview with the Associated Press, Carmen Electra actually revealed that they would frequently sleep in the living room. Here's what the actress said:

"He [Rodman] was very humble. He threw a mattress in front of the couch in the living room. That's where he always slept. That's where I slept as well. We were both naked, actually, when there's a knock at the door, Dennis jumps up, I don't know if he answered the door naked or not, I can't remember that part because I was hiding. He just turned around to me and said,' It's Michael Jordan. I've got to go practice.'"

7 And Carmen Revealed Dennis Was Very Romantic

Another thing that Carmen Electra opened up about is that Dennis Rodman was actually rather romantic. In an interview with The Los Angeles Times, the actress revealed that basketball player has a very sweet and romantic side and that he would frequently surprise her. Here's what she said:

"One day when the Bulls had an off day from practicing, Dennis said he had a surprise for me. He blindfolds me, and we get on his motorcycle. When he finally takes my blindfold off, we're standing at the Bulls' practice facility, center court. It was crazy, like two kids in a candy store."

6 Carmen And Dennis Got Married November 14, 1998, In Las Vegas

Considering that their relationship seems to have been a bit wild from the beginning — no one was surprised to hear that the couple got married in Las Vegas. The two tied the knot on November 14, 1998, at Chapel of the Flowers. The two got married after dating for several months and they got married after what People magazine described as "an all-night bender."

5 And Dennis Filed For Annulment Nine Days Later

Only nine days after their Las Vegas wedding, Dennis Rodman filed for an annulment of marriage revealing that he was of "unsound mind" during the ceremony. As we previously mentioned, the two decided to get married after a whole night of partying — which certainly must have involved plenty of alcohol.

However, soon after the basketball player filed for the announcement the couple reconciled — and they decided to stay married.

For a while, it seemed as if things were going well for the two, however, all throughout their marriage both were linked to other people as well.

3 Only To Divorce In April 1999

While they didn't separate after nine days — in April 1999 they decided to end their marriage mutually under "amicable circumstances." Later that year the two were arrested for misdemeanor battery and were ordered to stay away from each other. Since then, Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman have gone their separate ways.

2 Carmen Admitted She Was Drawn To Dennis Because He Was A 'Bad Boy'

Carmen Electra started dating Dennis Rodman soon after she lost both her mother and her sister — and later on, the actress revealed that she was drawn to Dennis because he was "the bad boy of basketball". Here's what the actress revealed to Glamour magazine:

"I was just going through the motions. I was completely numb. At the time, I was dating Dennis Rodman. He was such a fun person to be around, and we went out every night. I remember thinking, this is my out. I’m just going to have fun, and I’m not going to worry about anything. Right after my mom and sister died, I flew to Las Vegas and Dennis and I got married. I guess I was trying to cling to whatever I had. I’d lost my mom and my sister; I didn’t want to lose anyone else."
