Dunne is from New Jersey, and began training in gymnastics when she was only three years old. On her website, Dunne says that she wanted to start gymnastics simply because she wanted to wear a sparkly pink leotard. She ended up falling in love with the sport and became an elite gymnast when she was eleven years old, becoming the youngest in the country to qualify as a Junior International Elite.

Dunne made it onto the junior national team in 2017 and was selected to compete at the Jesolo Trophy competition in Italy that year. The United States junior team ended up winning the gold medal, which Dunne was a part of. She ended up making her senior debut in Jesolo the following year in 2018 and ended up competing as a senior international elite at the 2018 U.S. Classic. Dunne accepted a full athletic scholarship to LSU in the spring of 2017 for the Fall of 2020. She is often seen in her TikTok videos sporting LSU leotards and occasionally features some of her teammates in them, as well. She is a proud LSU Tiger and enjoys representing her team and university. The LSU gymnastics team ranked 3rd in the nation in 2022 and competed at the NCAA National Championships.

With a large social media presence and the work of her gifted talent agency, Dunne has landed collaborations with companies such as Forever21 and American Eagle.
