Fans of Emily Ratajkowski and Jennifer Lawrence appeared confused after an anonymous source has claimed there’s an ongoing feud between the two celebrities.

An undisclosed poster on celebrity gossip page Deuxmoi, later reposted by @deuxmoi.discussions, alleges there is bad blood between Lawrence and Ratajkowski and that the two women are never invited to the same social events because of that.

Deuxmoi User Claims Jennifer Lawrence And Emily Ratajkowski Aren't On Good Terms

An anonymous source spilled the unconfirmed beans to Deuxmoi on June 2.

“Can 100% confirm the Emily Ratajkowski/Jennifer Lawrence mini-feud is for real,” the source alleges.

“I know people in their immediate social circle and under no circumstances are they to be invited to the same gathering,” the source continues.

The reason for the rumored feud is to be researched in Ratajkowski’s 2020 essay for New York Magazine, says the source.

Ratajkowski’s piece focuses on reclaiming her image after her nudes were leaked in 2014. Lawrence’s private pictures were leaked alongside those of Ratajkowski and a handful of other female celebrities at the time. In the piece, Ratajkowski also details being sexually assaulted by photographer Jonathan Leder during a photoshoot.

“Jennifer is super annoyed and embarrassed that Emily indirectly named her husband Cooke Maroney as the guy that had her nude,” the source writes.

Is It Jennifer Lawrence's Husband The 'Gallerist' Emily Ratajkowski Refers To In Her Essay?

The name of Lawrence’s husband doesn’t appear in the essay. However, the source claims many know the model is referring to Maroney, who works as an art dealer, when she speaks of a gallerist who owns one of her naked portraits.

“To my boyfriend’s disappointment, his gallerist friend texted him only a few days later to say that a big-time collector wanted it,” the essay reads.

“I knew of the gallerist through a bunch of different people and had met him once or twice, so it didn’t take long to find out what actually happened to the piece. The giant image of me was hanging above the couch in his West Village apartment,” Ratajkowski wrote.

“‘It’s kind of awkward,’ a friend of mine said, describing the painting’s placement in the gallerist’s home. ‘He, like, sits under naked you,’ she continued.

The whole affair seems to have been under wraps given fans aren’t sold on whether there is actually a feud between the actress and the model.

“This seems made up,” one user commented the @deuxmoi.discussions post.

“I missed this feud. Would someone please sum it up for me?” was another comment.

Another fan also pointed out that Ratajkowski and Lawrence were seen together last year. The two women were spotted dining separately at a Brooklyn restaurant in March 2020, but it doesn’t seem they hung out together.
