Maroon 5 fans would usually follow Adam Levine on Instagram for his posts, but apparently, Adam Sandler "posted" on the lead singer's account instead. It is not usually common for that to happen unless a person's account got hacked.
Fans were also confused and thought they were seeing something from Sandler's Instagram, which is ironic because he has one and posted the same video there. As for why Levine reposted Sandler's video, there are a good couple of reasons.
Having the same first name is one thing, but some Maroon 5 fans might not know that Levine and Sandler are great friends. The lead singer also performed at Sandler's daughter's Bar Mitzvah, which further emphasizes their friendship.
And for those that are fans of Sandler's movies, it has been 25 years since Happy Gilmore came out in theaters. For the fans that caught on, they also rejoice in seeing a classic Sandler film turn 25 years old, as some are hoping for a reboot. That seems unlikely, but if that were to happen, then both Adams better collaborate to show off their chemistry and talent as actors and musicians.
