At one point, Victoria's Secret was known as the ultra-sexy lingerie company that was successfully branded by its association with some of the world's most leading supermodels.

Beauty was in abundance at every highly-anticipated Victoria's Secret fashion show, as the stunning angels took the stage year after year, wowing audiences with their sexy display of incredible lingerie.

Fans of Victoria's Secret are stunned as everything they know about the brand is completely changing.  While most agree that this is a time for a change, some argue that this situation is being taken too far.

Victoria's Secret Brand Gets Re-Vamped

The Victoria's Secret brand, as we know it, has definitively come to an end. In its place, there are now two different initiatives, one is called the VS Collective, while the other is called the Victoria's Secret Global Fund For Women's Cancers.

Neither of these really speaks the same language as a lingerie brand or fashion show. The angels are gone, and some fans think this is too drastically changed to even maintain Victoria's Secret name.

Reports indicate the new brand is being described as; "an ever-growing group of accomplished women who share a common passion to drive positive change," and says this Collective will "work to create new associate programs, revolutionary product collections, compelling and inspiring content, and rally support for causes vital to women."

Megan Rapinoe and Priyanka Chopra are the most recent faces to join the campaign and re-brand Victoria's Secret with these dramatically different changes. With no angels on the horizon, fans stand divided and are voicing their views.

Fans Weigh In

Victoria's Secret carried special significance to many fans and consumers, and they remain divided on this new look and feel that the brand has taken on.

Comments to social media include; "I don't get this, I love the angels. I love watching the fashion show each year. It's so beautiful and amazing - they just need more diverse bodies," and "Apparently being gorgeous and not afraid to display it is toxic too now."

Others wrote in to say; "VS trying hard to make people forget their Wexner/Epstein connection, I see," as well as; "well, women don't really look like that, and so many were exploited, so it was time for the shift."

Other commentary included; "Assume they have decided to do away with profits as well," and "Sexy is no longer pc. It will be an accented pair of umbros and a loose fitting top....bra optional, you don't need one."

Many fans were looking for a more neutralized approach to change, saying; "Do away with? Why not just "include" other styles? You are ALL nuts if you think we should not include all," and "I’m dead how is it being more diverse by a female trying to be built like a man I can understand adding her to the line up but I can’t understand canceling the angels serious just gonna buy underwear now from target."
