There is so much to love about the reality shows on Netflix and Bling Empire has definitely been a great addition. Bling Empire is a real and authentic show and fans want to learn more about Anna Shay and Christine Chiu's relationship.

As is often the case, thanks to editing, there is a lot to know about the reality series that wasn't shown in the 8-episode first season. Let's take a look at some fascinating behind-the-scenes secrets about Bling Empire.

Kevin And Kim

Christine Chiu could have starred on the Real Housewives, and while it would have been amazing to see her join RHOBH, fans of Bling Empire definitely think that the show wouldn't be the same without her.

It's fun to hear more about what it was like filming Bling Empire and there is some juicy information out there about Kevin Kreider and Kelly Mi Li.

Kevin talked about having "a spark" with Kim in the season 1 finale. According to BuzzFeed, Kevin talked about this in an interview with Entertainment Weekly and he said that he began thinking of her romantically at the party in that episode.

Kevin explained, "I saw a gentle side there that I never saw before. And we talked a lot afterward like, "Was that real? Was it not?" I don't know." Kevin said that when he asked if he made a move, would she have said yes, she responded, "Maybe." He said, "so that wasn't very promising. But yeah, we talked about it. It's weird."

Bling Empire was renewed for a second season in March 2021, according to Good Housekeeping, so perhaps fans will see more chemistry between the two stars.

In an interview with Hk.asiatatler.com, Kane Lim said that the cast filmed a lot of scenes when they were out shopping, and they didn't end up making it onto the show.

One amazing scene that fans would have loved to see? Anna and Kane went shopping and she saw a diamond that cost $10 million. While of course, some scenes do have to be cut, that would have been fun to watch.

Kane also shared in the same interview with Anna was pals with Jeff Jenkins, an executive producer on Bling Empire, and that she invests money in movies. He said of Anna, "She was actually surprised that she was even on the show in the end."

Anna's Story

Anna Shay was interviewed by Entertainment Weekly and the article mentioned an episode when Anna threw a party and Christine was told to show up at a time that was later than when everyone else originally arrived. Anna said she's not sure how that happened but maybe it was because she's always late.

Anna said, "So if anything, that was meant for me. Honestly! I don't know how she got the wrong time. I didn't send the invitations, so I don't know." This is interesting to hear about since that was a really juicy and dramatic moment on the show that people are still talking about, and it's fun to hear what it was like behind the scenes.

Anna also talked about Christine and when asked if the way that their relationship was shown on TV was true to life, she said, "I don't think so."

When asked if they grew closer, she said, "I don't think so" but gave a very polite answer. She didn't insult Christine, she said, "I have nothing against Christine" and continued, "I knew Christine nine, ten years ago while going to Fashion Week. I knew a different side of Christine then. During the show, however, she wanted to portray things — I just went with whatever she said. I would just try to answer and make some sense of certain things that happened, but it's okay. At the end of the day, everything's okay."

When asked by Oprah Daily about the party and her late invitation, Christine explained her side of the story: she said, "The fun part of Anna is that she has a lot of time on her hands. She has time to come up with games. That brings her pleasure. Maybe sometimes at other peoples' expense. But if that gives her a little chuckle, that's okay. I can arrive late. I'm a big girl. I have a lot of other priorities in my life than to be bothered by a party."
