The Debate

As soon as the news broke about Nipsey Hussle being honored with a star, fans took to social media to express their feelings.

Clarity was offered by a fan who wrote; "Stars on the walk of fame are applied for or petitioned for and if accepted paid for. They don't come looking for certain celebrities etc. In this case, his estate petitioned for him to have a star then a fee of 50,000 is paid. 200 applicants this year and 35 were chosen."

Another fan wrote; "Long over due #themarathoncontinues," and "Why? This is mad fake. No way they’d give him this if he was still alive. Literally nobody talked about him till he died."
