Spotify Music sent Drake a new plaque in celebration of one his singles from 2018, "In My Feelings," which garnered 1 billion streams on Spotify. While some artists may immediately put a plaque up on the wall, Drake took a different approach. As seen in his video, Drake decided to eat his dinner, which appears to be spaghetti, off of the plaque. In his caption, he mentions how this parallels a similar experience he had almost a decade ago.
When Drake won his Grammy for the album "Take Care," he and his team decided to take shots of alcohol out of the award. As fans thought the decision to take shots from his Grammy was legendary, they echoed a similar sentiment with regards to his eating dinner out of his plaque from Spotify. Fans, contemporaries, and other celebrities flooded his comments that lauded his success and actions. Prominent accounts, like Bleacher Report, and celebrities, like B. Simone, called Drake a "legend." Others were baffled by this "flex," as one model said, "you have officially unlocked flex level 9000." There were also some comments that thought Drake's video was hilarious.
