When it comes to the strength in her sound, she absolutely never disappoints. She has racked up a series of accolades, inclusive of Billboard Music awards and MTV Video Awards, and she keeps putting out hit after hit.

She just posted a video to her Instagram account that makes her a touch more relatable and a whole lot more admired by those who already possess so much love for her talents. Pink bravely took on the incredible sounds of Janis Joplin by doing a cover of her epic, legendary song, Me And Bobby McGee.

You may be used to her stellar performances by now, but this moment captures Pink in a whole new light, and it's even more amazing than you can imagine it to be.

Pink Dominates This Legendary Tune

There are some artists that just can't be duplicated. The one and only Janis Joplin is one of them. Back in 1971, just a short 4 months after she passed away of an accidental overdose, Janis Joplin's version of Me And Bobby McGee was released for the world to enjoy. Her legendary voice dominated the track, and it was clear that the world had lost one of the greatest contributors to the world of music.

This doesn't seem like something that anyone would touch, for fear of not being able to do it justice, but Pink has definitely done precisely that.

Belting out this song with her signature, unmistakable, powerful voice, Pink's rendition of the song is enough to give anyone goosebumps. Not only did she do it justice, she is being praised as "owning" the song.

Fans Think Pink Did It Best

In spite of the fact that this was a big song to take on, Pink nailed it. When the video began, she commented on how she, like most of us, has no idea what day it is, then she went on to state that she was adorning a dress as a special form of effort since she "has nowhere to go," either. There's very little that went in to the production of this recording. In fact, the visuals are distant, and grainy, but that flawless voice was strong, and clear.

Fans have truly missed hearing Pink's voice, and were so in awe with this performance that they wasted no time at all showering Pink with love. One fan wrote; "All of that , more of that ! 🙏🏽👌🏼💥," and another boldly stated; "well that was too damn amazing!!! how about a covers album 🤗?????"

Perhaps the greatest compliment that was posted to Pink was this one; "No offense to Miss Joplin, but it sounds like that song was made for you! 💗"
