Jason Momoa has commenced production on DC's Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
The movie is currently being filmed, and to tease fans for what’s to come, two photos of Momoa dressed in his superhero attire were officially shared over the weekend, leaving fans salivating over the actor’s ripped physique.
Momoa, whose name began trending following the release of the official photos from the second installment of the DC Comics franchise, looks incredible in both snaps — and fans were quick to let their imaginations run wild as they tweeted out their reactions to the pics.
One fan joked she was pregnant just by looking at Momoa in his suit while another wrote she would have preferred if his newest costume was ditched in favor of the Hollywood actor filming his scenes naked instead.
Meanwhile, back in May 2021, the former Game of Thrones star, who is worth a reported $14 million, shared that aside from being the lead actor in the forthcoming superhero flick, he also helped co-write the script, which was a huge leap for Momoa.
“After we ended the first one I went in with my writing partner and we dreamed up the second one and we went in and pitched the idea and the best thing I can give you is that I love it so much that I participated in the writing of it,” he said during an interview on The Drew Barrymore Show.
“And so, we did the first treatment and then James and our original writer David finished it off and all of our hearts are in it. Instead of just like getting a script and doing that like you are 100% being encouraged by your director and co-writers so that’s exciting for me and I’m excited to go over there. I leave in July and we start filming.”
Aside from the upcoming Aquaman 2 flick, Momoa recently wrapped production on his next film The Last Manhunt before he will star in 2022’s Slumberland.
According to reports, he’s also slated to play in the forthcoming thriller Cliffhanger.
