Fans React to Taylor Swift's Delicate Music Video

Taylor Swift's latest music video for her single "Delicate" has dropped and fans are about ready to burst.

The video premiered on March 11th after a hotly anticipated wait. Both Swift and director Joseph Kahn teased fans mercilessly in the build up, but it was all worth it in the end. Swifties weren't disappointed when the video played during the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Like most artists, Swift can do little wrong when it comes to her adoring fans - who were delighted with her latest offering. The plot line starts as a glum Taylor makes her way through a red carpet event, going to the bathroom to sit and pull silly faces at herself in the mirror - the most relatable part for many. Others pointed out what they believed were hidden messages throughout, with one Twitter user exclaiming, "Okay but there's a ring on her left finger, what does this mean, OH MY GOD."

Swift proceeds to turn magically invisible, giving her the freedom to dance around for three minutes while the camera follows her as she parades through the city streets, shoeless, and apparently having the time of her life. "Delicate" is the most recent single from Taylor's 2017 album, Reputation, which marked a shift in focus for the 28-year-old singer. Many speculated that the lead single "Look What You Made Me Do" was a snipe directed at her feud with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

The country-turned-pop starlet has always shunned being overtly sexual in her endeavours, instead opting to take a route that she believes is most beneficial to her young fans. "I don't live by all these rigid, weird rules that make me feel all fenced in," Taylor has been quoted. "I just like the way that I feel like and that makes me feel very free." She has consistently refused to take part in over-sexualized photo shoots, despite being often hailed as a modern sex symbol.

If you're already wondering when the next video will head your way,  then don't worry. Swift never keeps us waiting too long - if something isn't already in the pipeline, it will be soon.
