Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been spotted during a Malibu beach date with Affleck’s friend and collaborator, Matt Damon.
Days after Damon was involved in a controversy over his alleged use of homophobic slurs, the actor was seen with the couple, arguably one of the most talked-about celebrity pairs of the summer.

In the pictures circulating online, Affleck and Lopez hold hands as they walk next to Damon.
A couple of beachgoers in the foreground are also reluctantly in some snaps, a barrier between the three A-listers and the paparazzi.
Fans on social media made fun of the couple’s PDA next to Damon, also implying that beach dates are a pattern for Affleck.
“Didn’t Ben go on a walk beach date with Ben and Anna [sic!] last year lol,” one fan wrote on celebrity tea page @deuxmoi.discussions, referring to Affleck’s past romance with actress Ana de Armas.
The Gone Girl actor and the Knives Out star dated from early 2020 to early 2021.
“I was just going to say. Matt Damon beach date seems like déjà vu,” another user commented.
“LOL - the couple in the beach chairs must be thrilled to be in the pap stroll,” was another comment.

Bennifer Is Going Strong After Their Whirlwind Early 2000s Romance
Affleck and Lopez have been spotted on multiple, romantic outings since reigniting their early 2000s romance this year, including a dreamy Italian getaway on the island of Capri.
The two first dated from mid-2002 to early 2004 after working together on movie Gigli in 2001. Following their break-up in January 2004, the pair got closer after the Let’s Get Loud singer called off her engagement to former baseball star Alex Rodriguez earlier this year.
Damon previously weighed in on his friend Affleck rekindling the spark with Lopez in a recent interview on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show.
“You’re very happy for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. I know you love getting asked about that,” Cagle said.
“Right, but how else would I be? Like, would I be unhappy?” Damon replied.
“Like, I hate true love. It sucks. Yeah. Yeah. I wish them nothing, but you know, hardship,” he added sarcastically.
