The feud between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for custody of their children is still ongoing and it's about to get uglier.

Angelina Jolie successfully disqualified one of the judges on their case and Brad Pitt is livid. Pitt is going to the California Supreme Court to overturn this July decision that fired the private judge they choose years ago.

This ruling could completely wreck all of the progress and decision-making made over the past four years.

"Pitt's lawyers argued that the 2nd District Court of Appeal wrongly decided to dismiss Judge John Ouderkirk based on what the actor contends was "a minor and inadvertent administrative error" involving disclosure of previous business links to Pitt's lawyers."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were tentatively granted joint custody of their minor children and now that may not be the case anymore. Jolie objected to that ruling and did everything in her power to change the judge... and she achieved her goal.

Brad and Angelina's Custody Battle Continues

"Pitt Wants California Supreme Court to Hear Case"

Pitt's lawyer asserted "the ruling will cause "irreparable harm" to the Jolie-Pitt children and to those of other families in similar cases by prolonging the resolution of custody disputes in an already-overburdened court system. He added that "the attempt at disqualification was a stalling tactic by Jolie to keep Ouderkirk's tentative joint custody decision from going into effect."

Angelina Jolie's lawyer stated that Pitt's decision "displays how they are clinging to this private judge who exhibited bias and refused statutorily required evidence," calling it "disturbing" that Pitt's counsel would seek to reinstate Ouderkirk "having previously failed to disclose their new and ongoing financial relationships with him."

Olson added that Jolie "hopes Mr. Pitt will instead join with her in focusing on the children’s needs, voices, and healing."

Fans React To Brad's Decision

One individual wrote, "Apparently this woman was ok with the judge until he gave the father rights to his children, she sounds vindictive, remember she does not have a solid relationship with her Dad either I hear."

Another added, "He's sick! These kids don't want an alcoholic dad," while another fired back, "Really? They don't need a former addict and narcissistic mother either."

The decision to remove their judge means the custody battle, which was nearing the end, could start over from scratch. Pitt is aiming to derail that possibility and keep their current case on track.
