Earlier this week, it was reported that Jennifer Aniston had dropped a “baby bombshell” ahead of the Friends reunion.

Aniston was said to have announced her Friends co-stars she was in the process of adopting a baby. Her representative, however, shut down rumors.

“The story is a fabrication,” Aniston’s rep told People. The rep also told TMZ that the rumor is "false and never happened.”

Aniston has often undergone speculation and scrutiny over her body and her being potentially pregnant. Fans of The Morning Show star have reacted to the debunked rumor, defending Aniston’s privacy.

Leave Jennifer Aniston Alone, Say Fans

“Why are so many obsessed with wanting her to have a child? They were badgering her about this for years and years,” one fan tweeted.

“Women don't have to reproduce to have happy and fulfilling lives! We're not baby factories and babies are the most interesting thing about us. Jennifer Aniston has done amazing things and continues to be one of the biggest film stars, focus on that!” someone else commented.

Another fan made a valid point about certain media coverage’s obsession with pregnant stars.

“I’m sure [Aniston] simply chose not to have children but imagine if she couldn’t have children and the media constantly obsess over when she will be a mother. It is so tone deaf when so many women (& men) suffer with poor fertility. Constant obsessions are another kick in stomach,” the tweet reads.

“Can we focus on what this amazing woman has done, and continues to do? There’s so much more to her than whether she has a baby!! I hate that she has to continue to deal with this garbage,” was another comment.
