Joe and Love have moved to the suburbs in a hope to escape their murderous habits, but the trailer for season 3 has proved it to be an impossible feat for them. Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti have reprised their roles in the third season of Netflix's psychological thriller series, and judging from the trailer, it looks like the best one yet!

The streaming service’s favorite serial killer/sociopath has met his match. Though they’ve moved to the soulless suburb of Madre Linda and settled down with their new baby boy, it looks like the couple will be committing a lot more murders this time.

Joe And Love Are Drunk On Murder

The trailer shows that Joe has a new “you” to focus on, and has fallen for one of their neighbors. That’s not good for anyone - the neighbors, Joe, or the love of his life who is committed to ensuring he remains faithful to her and her only. They also go to couple’s therapy to make their marriage work - or to stop themselves from trying to kill each other.

With multiple sequences seeing the characters bury bodies and discuss murder, fans have realized that You season 3 is the show’s most “twisted” chapter yet.

“This show is so twisted…” a fan wrote in response to the trailer.

“Love is coming for blood this season,” said another.

“I just watched that trailer and it looking messier than Riverdale…” shared a third.

“not them already making the baby a murder witness and accessory,” a fourth chimed in.

“I feel like Love is going to kill Joe,” predicted another.

At one point in the trailer, Joe screams at love, saying: "You are not making me kill anyone!" It’s impossible to tell whether he will be able to keep to his promise, since it was Joe who was wrapping up dead bodies in the trailer.

Whether the couple will be able to protect their child or their marriage is unknown, but the trailer paints You season 3 as the horror story we deserve!

The trailer gives a sneak peek at other cast members including Michaela McManus, Tati Gabrielle, and Shalita Green. Here’s hoping they live long enough to see the season finale.
