A while back, a diss track was really the only way rappers would air their beef. But over the years, 50 Cent has seemingly led the way when it comes to finding creative ways to diss other artists and celebrities.

He's also purposely been painstakingly petty in his personal life, and fans have taken notice.

At this point, it really seems like 50 Cent basically makes a living being petty, and he's seemed to have gotten away with it.

How Nice Is 50 Cent In Real Life?

A lot of people think of 50 Cent as being kind of a jerk, and when it comes to the petty moves he's made, they may be right. At least, some of the time.

Surprisingly, 50 Cent has shown his cool side in a few cases. For example, he didn't seem to care when rumors sprouted about his ex/baby mama and one of his contemporaries.

But in other cases, 50 has been downright petty to the point of his life revolving around pranking people he doesn't like and, in some cases, people he's actually friends with.

Although, he doesn't seem to have it out for his much-publicized ex, Chelsea Handler...

50 Cent Is Less Compassionate Than Other People

50 Cent has literally said that he has "less compassion" than other people, and that might explain the long list of petty behaviors fans were able to compile.

For one thing, although he publicly was cool about P Diddy dating his ex, 50 routinely roasts his fellow rapper, making fun of everything from his age to his music.

It's not just petty jokes on social media, though. 50 Cent has literally tried to monetize his pettiness in various ways, and it really seems to have paid off.

How Did 50 Cent 'Make A Living' Being Petty?

Case in point? He apparently filed bankruptcy to avoid paying on a lawsuit wherein a woman whose personal tape he released (complete with commentary as if he was narrating a sporting event) sued him.

Another example? 50 Cent made a video dissing Fat Joe's music, and that video wound up with more views (and likely a higher payout) than Fat Joe's actual music video for the song in question. And yet, the two seem somewhat friendly now...

Last but not least, 50 has released multiple diss tracks that name-drop people he's had beef with, so he's clearly monetized his pettiness in that way.

Some fans say it's admirable the lengths 50 goes to for laughs, while pointing out that he's pretty savage in the business world, cutting deals that have kept him relevant (and rolling in dough, despite the bankruptcy) for a long time. So, it pays to be petty?
