Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd surprised fans once again after being photographed leaving a restaurant together in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The 46-year-old mother-of-six was seen with the 31-year-old Canadian singer for a second time, since they were last seen leaving the same restaurant in June.
The duo reportedly spent two and a half hours inside a private section of the luxurious family-run Italian restaurant, which is often frequented by celebrities. Earlier reports of Jolie and The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, suggested the actor and singer were on a date. The romance rumors surfaced amid Jolie’s brutal court custody battle, in which she is fighting against her ex-husband Brad Pitt.
The uncanny romance between Abel and Angelina is being joked about by their fans, who are expressing that the award-winning actress wants to “adopt” the singer.
Angelina Jolie Hangs Out With The Weeknd, Again
As reported by the Daily Mail, the two celebrities arrived at the Santa Monica restaurant separately. They were, however, photographed leaving the restaurant and entering a black SUV together.
Their fans have been wondering about the nature of their relationship, and fans are poking fun at Angelina possibly hoping to “adopt” the singer.
“She adopted him!???” a user inquired.
“How did the weeknd bag angelina...maybe she is trying to adopt him or something,” joked another.
“Angelina is really out there, trying to adopt The Weeknd,” a fan shared to Twitter.
Although there isn’t any photographic evidence, Angelina and The Weeknd apparently attended the same Mustafa the Poet concert in July. The Toronto native was seen with his friends Metro Boomin, while the actress attended the event with her teen daughters, 15-year-old Shiloh and 16-year-old Zahara.
The Grammy-winning artist has previously referred to Angelina Jolie in one of his hit songs.
His track Party Monster featured a reference to Angelina as well as his former girlfriend Selena Gomez, with the lyrics reading: "Angelina, lips like Angelina / Like Selena, a** shaped like Selena."
In his 2016 hit single Starboy, The Weeknd also references Jolie's now estranged ex-husband Brad Pitt, and sang: "Let a n**** Brad Pitt, legend of the fall took the year like a bandit."
Romantic or not - it appears that something is certainly going on between Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd!
