It takes a lot of courage and strength to come out with a statement regarding abuse. The brave men and women who had to endure their abuser are valid, strong, and inspiring. Early in the morning of February 1st, actress and singer Evan Rachel Wood came forward with her statement about being the victim of grooming.

She revealed to the world that it was Brian Warner, known to music fans as Marilyn Manson. Wood claimed that other victims were also affected by Manson, and as she shares her story, fans offered immense support all over social media.

Before Wood even made her official statement, people boycotted Manson's music when allegations first started to arise. Manson himself even admitted (vaguely) having had violent fantasies regarding his ex. Knowing Manson's image, he is aiming to be edgy and grotesque with violence, but when fiction becomes reality, that's when things begin to be alarming.

Ever since the allegations spread all over social media, people have been extremely supportive of Wood for her bravery. As of the time of this writing, Marilyn Manson has been trending on Twitter, consisting of tweets denouncing Manson and revealing that four other women posted allegations against the singer.

Those that were even fans of Manson ditched their interests altogether to show support and send love to Wood.

Fans of Manson were deeply disappointed and saddened. @MadRage666 tweeted her love for Manson's music, going so far as to take her daughter to a meet and greet. She understood that fame and talent is not an excuse for a celebrity to abuse their power over others and stands with Evan and other victims. Sadly, this is true as other celebrities, such as R. Kelly, Bill Cosby, and others have been convicted for abuse.

Some have even come out regarding their experiences with Manson at music venues, with @DeadJoeFriday working with him a number of times. He shared a thread of his time as a bartender and volunteering with the lighting crew. Higgins claimed that Manson was rude and creepy towards the staff.

We hope that Wood and the other victims can get justice for Manson's abuse, and that he will be held accountable for doing the awful and horrific acts against them, even if it was for the sake of making music.
