Courtney Stodden has marked Pride month with an Instagram post where they sport a rainbow bikini top.

The model and singer recently came out as non-binary, explaining their spirit is “fluid”.

Stodden’s coming out was met with an outpouring of support from her fans and the LGBTQ+ community, but some trolls are trying to take the spotlight from the model with transphobic comment.

Courtney Stodden Marks Pride Month With Instagram Post Where They Celebrate Being Non-binary

Stodden posted a short clip where they are wearing a bikini sporting the colors of the Pride flag.

“I’m loud and proud,” the model wrote and added the hashtag #nonbinary.

Despite many of Stodden’s fans are happy that the model was able to share their truth with them, some wrote transphobic comments.

“I’m very confused you’ve always seemed very proud of being a woman?” someone commented.

Luckily, a number of Stodden’s followers came to the rescue and shut down the trolls, while also trying to educate people in the process.

"enjoying a femme aesthetic and "being a woman" are different things,” someone replied, reminding everyone that being non-binary has nothing to do with the way someone presents themselves to the world.

Another Instagram user also corrected someone using the wrong pronouns to refer to Stodden, who had explained they use they/them/theirs pronouns when they came out earlier this year.

“THEY do whatever for attention & its Pride month. So,” they commented when someone used she/her pronouns to talk about Stodden.

Courtney Stodden Is Attracted To Multiple Genders

Stodden has been a part of the LGBTQ+ community for years. In the past, they have hinted at being attracted to multiple genders, revealing a bi+ sexual orientation.

They first came out as bisexual after their split from ex-husband, actor Doug Hutchison. At the time, the reality TV personality explained they were open to dating women, too.

"I think I just want to have fun," Stodden said ahead of their appearance at NYC'S HeadQuarters Gentlemen's Club in February 2017.

"I like guys who are funny and you know, successful and girls too! You know, I mean, I'm bi so why not some girls too?” they said.

In April this year, the model opened up on their gender identity. Stodden, best known for their appearance on Celebrity Big Brother and other reality TV shows, shared with their followers on Twitter that they identify as non-binary.

"I’ve never felt like I ever fit in anywhere. I was bullied horribly in school because I was different. The other girls never understood me. I never really connected with anyone my age. My spirit is fluid w a kaleidoscope of color,” Stodden wrote on their social media channels on April 14.
