Fans seem to have an almost unnatural addiction to Henry Cavill. The DC Extended Universe star has a massive following on social media, his interviews are constantly consumed by his fanbase, and tons of stories about his personal life have been made available online. In short, fans want to know everything about him.

His secret romantic life is something fans want to know about, not unlike his business moves that almost tanked his career. Then there's his incredible body and health regime that has his fans simultaneously drooling and eager to achieve the same level of fitness. The dude is Superman, after all.

But fans are seemingly most interested in the fact that Henry is just painfully awkward. Here's why they think that...

Fans Are Addicted To Henry's Awkwardness

Any look at Twitter threads about Henry Cavill will have you convinced that fans are extremely enamored with the fact that Henry Cavill often comes across as very uncomfortable in public settings and even in his own body. This isn't exactly something one would expect from someone as handsome and engaging as he is. But it's true.

There are also entire Reddit threads that discuss just how awkward and uncomfortable Henry Cavill appears to be. This is one of the aspects of his personality that make him so endearing to the masses.

But why do fans think he's like this?

Henry Can't Handle All The Flattery... And There's A Lot Of It

Everyone knows Henry Cavill is hot... and the press has no problem objectifying him or just straight-up flirting. While Henry doesn't seem to hate this, he clearly doesn't know what to do with it.

An example of this was when Henry was promoting Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and was asked by an interviewer about his favorite part of working with his co-star, Ben Affleck. Henry's immediate response was... "Ben's a very large man."

Not exactly the answer one was expecting.

But the interviewer did something that made things even more uncomfortable...

"You're a very large man," she said.

Then Henry recoiled into himself, blushing, and said "Thank you very much".

"In a good way!" she added.

"Thank you very much as well."

"This is coming out all wrong."

"I was going to say, steady on..."

There have been a lot of moments with the press where interviewers have seemingly flirted with Henry or, at the very least, made comments about his incredible physique. Almost every time, Henry appears embarrassed. Unlike some of the other gorgeous men of the world, Henry can't absorb compliments.

The same is true for his interactions with other celebrities, especially his female co-stars. Talented beauties such as Gal Gadot and Amy Adams have fawned over Henry and his body publically and he just seems self-conscious and somewhat embarrassed.

Henry Doesn't Fake It Through Interviews... He Just Sort Of Stumbles Through Them

But these reactions don't just come out when Henry's body or looks are spoken about... His media training isn't polished and that's what fans like.

Henry also had a challenging time promoting the theatrical cut of Justice League as there were only speculations that he was actually in it. This is because Superman died at the end of the previous film, Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

"It was one of those weird situations where no one really knew what they wanted, and it was like, 'Hey, we need Henry on the press tour, but let’s not tell anyone he’s in the movie,'" Henry told Cinema Blend. "I was like, 'Okay, well, it’s going to be super awkward for me, guys.’ Thank you for giving me an impossible scenario in which I’m just going to say to people [on the press tour], ‘Well, yeah, I was here for moral support. I made the tea, I made the tea for the entire movie.’"

Fortunately for the producers of Justice League and all of Henry's adoring fans, he managed to rock the press junkets... At least in his own way. But that tends to be a massive part of the allure of Henry Cavill. Unlike so many stars who try and fake their way through interviews, Henry is just himself. His gorgeous, awkward self.

But sometimes that's not good enough...

Fans are so obsessed with Henry's demeanor in interviews that they've even made their own compilations of his videos and edited them so that they are even more strange and hilarious.

Perhaps the main reason why people are so taken with how Henry Cavill conducts himself in public is that it's the opposite of what you'd expect. Henry has every right to be the most pompous, aggressive, and d*ckish man alive. He's got the talent, the looks, and the money... But he just isn't. He's charming in a nerdy kind of way, authentic, and a little bit blundering... And we all dig it!
