Americans are proud to see their First Lady poised in such an honorable way, and being featured in such a prominent magazine, and given recognition for her contributions to the country.
Just as quickly as fans flooded social media to shout out to the First Lady with congratulatory messages, others took to the same outlet to drag Melania and convey thoughts that Melania Trump must be very, very jealous.
Jill Biden Gets Featured
This shines a new spotlight on the fact that Melania Trump was shunned by the media and was not invited to present herself in this manner, partially due to her controversial photographs from the past, and in part due to the fact that she just simply wasn't popular enough for the opportunity.
Fans simply didn't resonate with Melania Trump, and they think she's turning green with envy at Jill's new cover.
Jill has been identified as a much more educated, sophisticated, respectable First Lady, and she seems to have earned her way to the top. There are no shameful controversies or nude photos creeping up from her past, and Vogue is as happy to feature her as fans are to see her grace the magazine's cover.
As fans flock to find out as much as they can about this August edition, there's a general awareness of just how much of a diss this is to Melania Trump.
Melania Must Be Mad
People are dragging Melania pretty hard over this magazine. They're quite sure she is undeserving of this honor, and that Jill was rightfully given the prestigious cover spot.
During the 4 years that she reigned as the First Lady of the United States, Melania was very rarely given opportunities to shine in front of the cameras, and she was certainly not featured in any major publications in this manner.
Sadly, any time she was mentioned, it was a throwback to her highly controversial nude photos or her visibly tumultuous relationship with Donald Trump.
Comments comparing the First Ladies and pegging them against one another came fast and furious online. They included; "We’d imagine Melania is FUMING! Dr. Jill Biden is Vogue’s August cover star!" and "Omg like a total 360 difference from the other one ! She’s way better," as well as; "Melania has the pleasure of being a supermodel in different ways."
