Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker were having the best time of their lives in Italy when the KUWTK star's exes, Scott Disick and Younes Bendjima reignited their feud. In his Instagram Story, Bendjima posted a screenshot of a DM Disick had sent him. The father of three reacted to a paparazzi photo of the new couple smooching on a yacht. He wrote, "Yo is this chick ok!???? Broooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy."

The 28-year-old boxer-turned-model didn't entertain the Flip It Like Disick star's attempt to bond. "Doesn't matter to me as long as she happy," he responded. "PS: i aint your bro." He also captioned the exposé, "Keep the same energy you had about me publicly, privately." The internet quickly weighed in — some thought Disick had it coming while others thought it was a petty move. Meanwhile, Kardashian reportedly "doesn't care."

A source told E! News that she's well aware her ex-husband "still has issues accepting her love with Travis" and that "she wishes he would know better than to reach out to Younes of all people. Younes can never be trusted and Scott knows that." With neither ex getting a score on this one, fans are now debating the real reason Bendjima revealed the private exchange. Here are their theories.

Definitely Not For Kourtney Kardashian's Happiness

Despite not going along with shaming Kardashian, fans believe that Bendjima isn't really in it for the Poosh founder's happiness either. A fan on Reddit wrote, "do ppl think it was for Kourtney’s happiness? if it was then he wouldn’t of posted it on instagram and would of sent it to her privately. if i was Kourtney i'd be pissed at Younes." According to the insider, that may just be what the He's All That star feels about the situation.

"Kourtney is cordial with Younes but that's it," they said. "She doesn't trust him or his intentions." In 2018, Kardashian, 42, notably split with Bendjima due to his issues with her Instagram posts. "He never liked that she posted sexy pictures of herself on social media. He doesn’t want his girlfriend to do that. He gets that it’s her job, but wants her to post more covered up picture," a source explained.

Following their breakup, the Algerian model publicly expressed his disapproval of the reality star's Instagram post where she was wearing a thong bikini bottom. He wrote in the comments, "that's what you need to show to get likes?" It makes sense why fans aren't buying the whole "as long as she happy" narrative. The source added, "He has always had a problem with this. This is the stuff they argue about and what made them split in the past."

Getting In The Spotlight Again

Another Redditor said about the drama, "Unpopular opinion but Younes doesn’t truly care for Kourts happiness rather he knew "calling Scott out" would put him in the lime light for a moment again." When Bendjima started dating Kardashian, the former boxer was immediately accused of using the relationship for exposure. He's repeatedly denied it but this time, fans are more convinced that he's riding his association with the KUWTK star for clout.

Other commentators also thought Bendjima tried to play the hero for good publicity in posting the screenshot. A fan wrote, "I think it’s less about Kourtneys happiness and more about people praising Younes for doing this and "having Kourtneys back". Personally I think Scott and Younes both look sh--ty in this situation." Clearly, Kardashian didn't care for it either.

Getting Back At Scott Disick

In the last years, Disick, 38, has made it known to the public that he never liked Bendjima. It put so much more weight on the attacks already faced by the model at that time. Fans now believe that publicizing the DM was merely a way to get back at the Talentless owner. "Him posting that is obviously not because he cares about Kourt but more just to get back at Scott for talking sh-- about him," a fan wrote on Reddit.

Fans also called out the hypocrisy in shaming Kardashian's PDA with Barker, 45. "I'm actually glad he has exposed Scott. How low you gotta be to bag out the mother of your children ???? When you’re basically dating a teenager yourself…," another commenter replied. A fan then argued that in that case, Bendjima wasn't trying to get attention but was rather focused on slamming his bully.

"He did everything he could NOT to be on tv with kourtney. they had diff values and didn’t work, and then they talked crap about him on said TV show," they wrote. "He’s standing up for himself and could probably careless about kourtney. doesn’' make him a bad person for not wanting to go out of his way to protect an ex who let people talk s--t about him publicly." Fair point.
