Was Megan Thee Stallion shunned from this year’s Met Gala?

Well, that’s what fans seem to think after the “Savage” rapper jetted to the UK earlier this week in preparation for her performance at Sunday’s Wireless Festival in London.

Stallion shared a series of snaps after arriving in Britain, leaving fans puzzled since two of the biggest entertainment events are taking place in the coming days, yet it seems she won’t be present at either of them.

On Sunday, when the Houston Hottie performs at Wireless Festival, MTV will air the Video Music Awards, where Stallion is nominated for six awards, including Video of the Year and Song of the Year with “WAP.”

The following day, the Met Gala will commence in New York — but with Stallion in London, it seems evident she’ll miss the VMAs.

It was just in February when the 26-year-old took home three awards at the Grammys, having also confirmed that work on her sophomore album is already in the works, though she has yet to announce an official release date for the project.

Needless to say, however, Stallion, who is worth a reported $3 million, has a lot on her plate, yet fans think she shouldn’t have accepted a gig in London if this meant she’d miss attending the VMAs and the Met Gala.

For all we know, the “Movie” hitmaker could very well be on the first flight back to New York after finishing her set on Sunday, though it seems unlikely she’ll grace the VMAs stage since she wouldn’t have had any time to rehearse at the venue.

For Sunday’s Wireless Festival, Stallion joins the likes of Rick Ross, Migos, and Meek Mill for a star-studded performance at one of the hottest concerts in the UK, which saw rapper Drake make a surprise appearance on Friday, September 10.
